  • Patent number: 12253096
Abstract: A fan assembly configured to address expansion losses and associated noises in centrifugal fans modifies the blades and housing to enhance the efficiency of air flow. The fan assembly can include a centrifugal fan wheel and shaped housing incorporating curved walls that guide the airflow along an efficient path, minimizing abrupt directional changes and resulting in improved energy efficiency and reduced noise levels compared to conventional housed centrifugal fans. Additionally, fan assembly includes a low-profile, energy-efficient motor positioned within an interior region defined by the centrifugal fan wheel, reducing the overall size of the fan assembly. In embodiments, the fan assemblies can function as standalone fans or be arranged in an array configuration to effectively move large volumes of air.

  • Patent number: 12158765
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing task assignments for a fleet of haul trucks at a mine site. An assignment engine may: receive state data for a haul truck including haul weight data and second state data for the mine site that is indicative of a plurality of available tasks and associated task material weight data; assign a task to the haul truck by inputting the state data into a trained reinforcement-learning model, wherein: the model has been trained to learn an assignment policy that optimizes a reward function, such that the learned policy accounts for vehicle performance variance due to changing vehicle haul weight and/or road conditions; and cause the at least one haul truck to be operated according to the at least one task assignment.

  • Patent number: 12084350
Abstract: Alloys, emf attenuation materials or emf reception materials, materials for biotechnology or biomedical materials, and materials for toxin and heavy metal removal, each containing a newly discovered allotrope of carbon having a multilayered nanocarbon array, and which exhibits, among other properties, exceptional stability, electrical conductivity and electromagnetic frequency (emf) attenuation characteristics. Members of this new allotrope include nanocarbon structures possessing vast electron delocalization in multiple directions, unavailable to known fullerene-characterized materials like carbon nano-onions (CNOs), multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs), graphene, carbon nano-horns, and carbon nano-ellipsoids. Such stabilizing electron delocalization crosses or proceeds between layers, as well as along layers, in multiple directions within a continuous cyclic structure having an advanced interlayer connectivity bonding system involving the whole carbon array, apart from incidental defects.

  • Publication number: 20240255857
Abstract: Method for operating a mask-metrology measurement apparatus, wherein an image of a section of a photomask is recorded with a first image sensor and wherein an aerial image is generated by virtue of the image raw data obtained with the image sensor being subjected to a clear normalization. The aerial image is subjected to a non-linearity adaptation, which comprises the following steps. In step a., the aerial image is mathematically combined with a clear image (CT2T). In step b., linearity correction (Plin1) is applied to the image data generated in step a. to correct a linearity error of the first image sensor. In step c., a non-linearity adaptation (P?1lin2) is applied to the linearity-corrected image data obtained in step b. to imprint a linearity signature of a second image sensor not arranged in the beam path of the measurement apparatus on the image data. In step d., a clear normalization is applied to the linearity-adapted image data generated in step c.
