  • Publication number: 20120216428
Abstract: A disposable pad is constructed of materials that provide an alternate sole for the shoe, such as providing near or identical characteristics to the heel and sole of traditional bowling shoes. The pad will contain multiple layers including an adhesive layer that will allow the user to temporarily affix the pad to their own footwear. The pad may include multiple die cuts to accommodate male, female and children's footwear, for example, for ages five years old through adult. The pad may be used to transform the user's shoes, which are typically used for one purpose, to be adapted for use for a second purpose.

  • Publication number: 20090188936
Abstract: An improved chip dispensing container for distributing, storing and serving tube-stacked chip articles includes a rigid tubular case, a sling inside the case, a, handle outside the case and cables connecting the sling to the handle. The cables pass in contact with bearings near the rim of the container on their courses between sling and handle such that moving the handle downward from an initial position near the rim, pulls on the cables and thereby hoists the sling upward from an initial position near the bottom of the container. Conversely the sling is lowered by moving the handle upward. The stack of chips resting on the sling can thus be raised or lowered by manipulating the handle to controllably access all of the chips in a tube-stacked chip array.

  • Patent number: 5400787
Abstract: An inflatable coil positioning device includes a coil, a first inflatable sleeve disposed radially about the coil and a second inflatable sleeve disposed radially within the coil. The first inflatable sleeve and the second inflatable sleeve each include at least two sections. The coil is placed about a target section of the patient to be imaged. The second inflatable sleeve is inflated until the coil is securely mounted on the target section. The mounted coil and target section of the patient are then placed within a predetermined section of a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging magnet. The first inflatable sleeve is inflated until the mounted coil and target section of the patient are securely retained within the predetermined section of the magnet.
