  • Publication number: 20190081886
Abstract: Provided are methods, devices and systems to augment a hosted SIP-PBX (Private Branch Exchange) installation with survivability features. The SIP survivability agent passively monitors ongoing SIP transactions between a local (enterprise) network and a remote (hosted) SIP service and learns the contact addresses of all parties. When the remote SIP service becomes unreachable, the survivability agent takes over the responsibility of the remote SIP service and connects the SIP sessions locally, allowing station-to-station, emergency, and external breakout calls.

  • Publication number: 20180261418
Abstract: A cut-off element for electrical isolation of an electrical component or for opening of a circuit in overload has two terminal contacts, an insulating housing and a fuse element which is located within the insulating housing. In the normal state of the cut-off element, the two terminal contacts (2,3) are connected to one another in an electrically conductive manner via the fuse element. In the cut-off element, reliable isolation of an electrical component, in particular an overvoltage arrangement, is possible by the insulating housing being formed of two parts which are connected to one another and the first part of the housing, in case of overload, being isolated from the second part of the housing so that the connection of the two terminal contacts is broken via the fuse element.

  • Publication number: 20180253809
Abstract: A method and system that distributes floating licenses over a communication network, where the licensed services must be able to start without delay. The system comprises of at least one license server that stores and manages software-feature licenses and a set of client devices that are connected to the license server over a communication network and that lease licenses for licensed features from the server temporarily. The license distribution method is designed for licensed real-time features or services, typically with a short life time. Such real-time services are started and stopped frequently and must not be imposed with an additional delay for requesting a license from the license server. Examples for such services are voice and video calls. This document describes a method and system to solve this license distribution problem for real-time services.
