    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to improved HVAC devices and kits for HVAC devices that improve the sound attenuation associated with the device, particularly low-frequency noise. An example embodiment includes an improved furnace including a housing with a combustion air chamber, a heat exchanger chamber, and a circulation blower chamber, wherein the combustion air chamber comprises a burner assembly and a combustion air fan, the furnace also includes a sound attenuation layer including a first acoustic metamaterial layer coupled to the combustion air chamber and tuned to attenuate sound for a first frequency band, one or more housing openings fluidly connecting the combustion air chamber to an environment outside the housing, wherein the sound attenuation layer includes a discontinuous section that aligns with one or more of the housing openings.

    Abstract: An infant warming system can include a platform for supporting an infant, at least two chest electrodes configured to connect to and detect cardiac potentials from a chest of the infant, an ECG monitor configured to receive the cardiac potentials from the at least two chest electrodes, a pulse oximeter device configured to determine an SpO2 for the infant, and a processor configured to determine one or more activation thresholds for the infant, wherein the one or more activation thresholds represent one or more target saturation levels for the infant. The processor can also compare the heart rate for the infant to a first heart rate threshold and compare the SpO2 for the infant to the one or more target saturation levels, adjust a display on a display device based on the comparisons, and generate a care instruction for a care stage based on the SpO2 of the infant.

The first and second members are configured to provide additional resistance against displacement of the flexible container by an external compression force to increase purchase and control when using the flexible container. In some embodiments, the frame may also assist in efficiently restoring the shape of the flexible container after the compression force is applied and/or provide feedback regarding the extent of the compressive force applied or contortion experienced by the flexible container.

    Abstract: An eye dropper includes a nozzle secured to a reservoir. The nozzle includes a sleeve that extends around the center and has a first zone, a second zone, and a third zone, having corresponding first, second, and third expansion pressures at which the first, second and third zones separate from the center. The second pressure is less than the first expansion pressure and the third expansion pressure is less than the second expansion pressure. The third expansion pressure may be less than the first expansion pressure. A notch in the sleeve may receive a ridge on the center. The zones may be positioned over a groove in the center or extend completely around a center that is cylindrical or frusto-conical in shape. Multiple instances of first, second and third zones may be distributed along the center. The sleeve may be made of a more flexible material than the center.

The fitment acceptor includes forward and rearward sidewalls. A radius of curvature of the forward sidewall differs from a radius of curvature of the rearward sidewall. The radius of curvature of the forward sidewall and the radius of the curvature of the rearward sidewall correspond with radiuses of curvature of respective front and rear ends of a fitment of the flexible reservoir such that the fitment of the flexible reservoir is only insertable in the fitment acceptor in one relative orientation between the fitment and the fitment acceptor.
