  • Publication number: 20060273555
Abstract: A foldable trailer includes a base frame, a canopy frame having a pivot end pivotally connected to a front end of the base frame, a power end rearwardly and upwardly opposite to the pivot end portion, and a weight portion interposed between the power and pivot ends and having a weight area. A biasing member includes a pivoted end pivotally mounted to the base frame, and a connected end connected to the weight area, and is compressible towards the base frame when the weight area is turned by a weight force that is generated by applying a power force to depress the power end downwards. The weight area is located such that a force component imparted by the weight force is greater than, equal to, and smaller than a biasing force of the biasing member when the power end is in an unfolded position, a critical position, and a folded position, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20050138592
Abstract: Various methods and apparatuses are described in which a printed circuit board has trace lines. Input/output pads on the printed circuit board may have approximately the same width dimension as a trace line connected to those input/output pads. A first group of vias in the printed circuit board may be aligned into a planar line with a set corridor spacing between adjacent of groups of vias also aligned into a planar line with the same axis to allow a routing space for lines in multiple layers of the printed circuit board to occur in the routing space established by the set corridor spacing.

  • Patent number: 6499800
Abstract: A vertically adjustable seat post assembly for cycles includes a light-weight vertical seat post formed from a relatively soft high strength-to-weight material, such as a carbon fiber composition, and a relatively hard tubular protective tubular sleeve permanently secured concentrically about the lower end of the seat post. The outer diameter of the sleeve is slightly less than the inner diameter of the seat tube opening of the cycle frame, whereby the carbon fiber seat post is protected by the sleeve when the seat post is vertically adjusted and clamped within the seat tube opening.

  • Patent number: 5638556
Abstract: A floating swimming pool apparatus includes a rigid water retaining portion which includes rigid walls and a rigid floor. A peripheral deck portion is connected to top portions of the rigid walls, and a plurality of individually adjustable drum-like container are connected to the deck portion. Each of the drum-like containers includes a fill port through which a quantity of ballast material can be added to or removed from the drum-like container. The preferred ballast material is water. A layer of flotation foam material attached to exterior surfaces of the rigid walls and the rigid floor of the water retaining portion. Inner joists are connected to the deck portion proximal to the rigid walls of the water retaining portion. Outer joists are connected to the deck portion distal to the rigid walls of the water retaining portion. Each of the adjustable drum-like flotation assemblies is suspended from the deck portion by a suspension band connected to a respective inner joist and a respective outer joist.

  • Patent number: 4910541
Abstract: A manipulable device for projecting a horizontally-extending straight square edged light bar images upon a paper work sheet to facilitate the pasting of small adhesively-waxed printed pieces or strips to be placed upon a paper work sheet lying upon the base support of the device. The selected locations are determined and effected by relative fore and aft adjustment between a light bar projecting fixture and its base support with the work sheet thereon. Since procedure of pasting up of printed pieces upon a layout sheet can be done without the usual T-square and triangle, both hands are left free to carry out the pasting operation. Vertical guides are effected as vertical interferences of the projecting light rays and registerable upon the layout sheet along with the horizontally-extended light bar. Vertical and horizontal measuring rulers are provided upon the layout sheet base support to which reference can be made when locating the projected straight edge light bar upon the layout sheet.

  • Patent number: 4577400
Abstract: A tool facilitates the hand insertion of wire wrap square sectioned pins from a fanning metal strip into plated through holes of a wire-wrap printed circuit board. The tool includes a solid cylindrical tip which is mounted within a handle member which includes an automatic anvil. An end portion of the tip has a portion with stepped profile which contains a round hole. The hole is slightly larger than the square section of the pin and has a predetermined depth for positioning the pin in a vertical direction during an insertion operation. The sizes of the individual steps are selected to enable the pins to be ejected completely from the band portions of the strip into the holes of the board at a predetermined depth without damaging the strip or the areas surrounding the holes.

  • Patent number: 4501054
Abstract: A hand held tool for installing compression rings includes a pair of relatively reciprocable coaxial cylindrical independently spring biased elements housed within a cylindrical handle which includes mode control means automatically preconditioned for enabling the tool to perform either an installation or ejection operation. The mode control means includes a cylindrical radial cavity containing plural spring biased spherical ball detents and extends into corresponding portion of the outer reciprocable element. The positioning of a tapered central section of the inner reciprocable element coincides with the cavity so that one of the spherical ball detents normally sits within a hollow defined by the taper. When one spherical ball detent, in response to the mode control means being preconditioned by depressing a front end or shaft portion of the inner element, is positioned to lock the outer member to the handle, this allows the ring to be installed onto the cam shaped front end of the outer element.
