  • Patent number: 9579250
Abstract: The heads interface with a conventional handpiece so that the facial brush or other facial treatment head can be removed and replaced with a subassembly that provides pivoting/floating support. The treatment head is then attachable to the pivoting/floating subassembly as if it were attaching to the handpiece; the result being a motorized skin treatment head that pivots and/or floats to follow the contour of the skin. The internal motor can either be housed within the handpiece, or pivoting/floating subassembly, and will either provide rotation/oscillation of the treatment head, or simple vibrations to the handpiece and/or treatment head. The floating mechanism may be available in a variety of forms to provide the widest variety of use scenarios. Each floating mechanisms and/or subassemblies are interchangeable with the others so as to be removably attachable to the handpieces described in the Parent applications.

  • Publication number: 20170013932
Abstract: The device combines the detangling capability of a comb or brush with the ability to massage lotions and other hair treatments into the hair follicles and through the entire length of each hair strand. A two-jaw clamping or clamshell design is provided with an interchangeable brush or comb element attached to one of the jaws and a pair of soft rollers extending from the other jaw element. The two jaws are detachable from one another in order to permit the user to operate the comb or brush portion separate from the rollers. When fully assembled, the comb or brush protrudes through the pair of rollers when the jaws of the device are clamped together. There may be an additional mechanism within the device to provide internal vibrations in the housing to propagate through the entire device and into the user's hair in order to aid in the detangling, smoothing and treatment application processes. One or more additional versions may also include vibrating or oscillating rows of bristles in the brush or comb element.

  • Patent number: 9538264
Abstract: An Optical channel Data Unit flex (ODUflex) resizing method, node, and network include determining that the ODUflex needs resizing, wherein the ODUflex is configured in the network on a current path between the node and a second node in the network; when the resizing is a decrease, reducing a size of the ODUflex by i) a resize decrease operation using a control plane or ii) a Link Aggregation Group and Make-Before-Break operation; and, when the resizing is an increase, increasing a size of the ODUflex by i) a resize increase operation using a control plane or ii) a Link Aggregation Group and Make-Before-Break operation. The method provides hitless resizing without using ITU Recommendation G.7044/Y.1347 (10/11) and can perform the reducing or the increasing changing bandwidth of the ODUflex by approximately 100 G in less than a second.

  • Publication number: 20160339952
Abstract: A steering system and method is described for a vehicle having steerable front and rear wheels, and a steering input device for receiving manual steering input. Front and rear hydraulic steering devices may be coupled, respectively, to the front and rear wheels. Front and rear valve assemblies may be configured, respectively, to steer the front and rear wheels. In a manual steering mode, the front valve assembly may be disabled with respect to the front steering device, and the front hydraulic steering device may steer the front wheels based upon the manual steering input. In a rear steering assist mode, a rear steering command may be determined based upon the manual steering input, and the rear wheels steered based upon the rear steering command. In an automated steering mode, the front and rear wheels may be automatically steered based upon a target path of travel for the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20160288827
Abstract: A steering system and method are described for a vehicle having steerable front and rear wheels. A rear hydraulic steering device may be coupled to one or more of the rear wheels. A rear valve assembly may hydraulically control the rear hydraulic steering device to steer the rear wheels based upon a rear steering command. In a rear steering assist mode, the rear steering command may be determined based upon a manual steering input received at a steering input device. • Patent number: 9272141
Abstract: A handheld facial massage and microcurrent therapy device. The device includes a massage feature that enables the user to provide motorized agitation to a skin-contacting attachment selected from a group of detachable elements. The detachable skin-contacting element includes bristle brushes, massage sponges, smooth and rough applicators, among others. In addition to the motorized agitation from the attachment, the device also includes the ability to apply rejuvenating micro-current therapy to the skin. Both the motorized agitation and micro-current generation are independently user-adjustable in order to achieve the optimum treatment for each individual. Versions of the device that include galvanic current application as well as ultrasonic skin stimulation are available. The device is compact and easy to use so that the non-professional user can self-treat with professional results.

  • Publication number: 20160037721
Abstract: A pressure control system is described for a vehicle having a hydraulically actuated header. The system may include a hydraulic lifting circuit for raising and lowering the header, a hydraulic float circuit for floating the header, and a drain tank. A lifting circuit control valve may be configured to control drainage of hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic lifting circuit to the drain tank. A float circuit control valve may be configured to control drainage of hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic float circuit to the drain tank. • Patent number: 9120504
Abstract: A four-bar linkage is provided as a mechanical interface for transferring respective outputs from a speed/direction control device and a hydraulic steering cylinder to displacement control arms of a pair of pumps of a dual-path hydrostatic transmission including a pair of motors respectively coupled for driving a pair of front wheels of a vehicle. The hydraulic steering cylinder is fixed and has a piston rod slidably coupled to an input arm of the four-bar linkage in such a way that a rotation speed decrease occurs as the arm and a linked control plate are pivoted from a neutral position, the control plate transferring pivotal movement to effect differential movement of the displacement control arms. This results in the vehicle speed decreasing during a turn.
