  • Patent number: 11754707
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for estimating wave properties of a body of water. A computer-implemented system obtains measurement data for a duration of time from an inertial measurement unit (IMU) onboard an underwater device, generates model input data based on at least the measurement data obtained at the plurality of time points, and processes the model input data to generate model output data indicating one or more wave properties using a machine-learning model. The system further determines, based on at least the one or more wave properties, whether the device is safe to be deployed.

  • Publication number: 20230262338
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, that validate the synchronization of controllers in an aquaculture environment. One of the methods includes an image processor that receives images generated by a first image generating device that includes a light filter that is associated with light of a particular light frequency while an aquaculture environment was illuminated with light. Based on the image that was generated by the first image generating device, the image processor determines whether the intensity value of the light frequency in the image satisfies a threshold value. Based on determining whether the intensity value of the light frequency in the image satisfies the threshold value, the image processor determines whether the aquaculture environment was illuminated with light of the particular light frequency when the image was generated.

  • Patent number: 11708908
Abstract: A gasket assembly includes a substrate, such as a portion of a body of an electrical connector. The substrate defines a mating surface to which a gasket or gasket seal is mechanically fixed. The gasket defines at least one recess or other mounting feature thereon for engaging with a complementary feature of the substrate for fixing the gasket to the substrate. According to an embodiment, the gasket defines a sealing face or sealing wall opposing and/or abutting the mating surface of the substrate, and a sidewall extending from the sealing wall and defined about a perimeter thereof. The sealing wall and sidewall define a circumferential recess configured to receive a peripheral edge of the substrate for securing the gasket to and generally over the mating surface of the substrate.

  • Patent number: 11709749
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for capturing diagnostics data in a distributed computing environment comprising a plurality of computing devices executing a plurality of Kubernetes pods. A worker node is configured with a staging area for storing temporary diagnostics data. An agent is configured to upload the temporary diagnostics data. Each container in the worker node is assigned a directory in the staging area for writing the container's temporary diagnostics data. When a container in the worker node has written a temporary diagnostics data file to the container's directory in the staging area, the temporary diagnostics data file is uploaded to the persistent storage.

  • Patent number: 11673065
Abstract: The present invention provides a swing that is operable to promote attunement between a child and caretaker. The swing comprises two seats, one of the two seats being configured to be occupied by a caretaker, such as a parent, and another of the two seats being configured to be occupied by a child. The two seats are arranged so that the caretaker and the child can face one another and comfortably see each other's eyes. The two seats are also configured such that, during operation of the swing, both the caretaker and child share the experience of swinging. Thus, using the swing of at least one embodiment of the present invention, a caretaker and child may share the mutual enjoyment of the swinging action while maintaining eye contact with one another, resulting in attunement.
