  • Patent number: 11756084
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to systems and methods for providing employee data corresponding to individual employees to a customer computing entity operated by a customer. The employee data is provided so as to provide additional detail regarding an employee involved in a customer service interaction with the customer. The employee data is broadcast from an employee beacon carried by a respective employee. The employee data is received by a customer computing entity within the broadcast range of the employee beacon and, upon detection of a trigger event, the employee data is presented to the user via a graphical user interface of the customer computing entity, which requests that the customer provide feedback data regarding the employee, which may be transmitted to a management computing entity for storage and analysis.

  • Publication number: 20220186559
Abstract: A ladder stabilizer removably mounts to one of the two spaced rails of a conventional ladder, and a mirror image stabilizer preferably mounts to the other rail. The stabilizer is of unitary construction, preferably injection molded from thermoplastic material, and includes a longitudinal member with an open channel along one longitudinal surface, the channel bounded by opposing longitudinal flanges. The member is sized and shaped and of sufficient flexibility to removably mount to the rail at any desired vertical position, and is relatively non-slidable with respect thereto once mounted. An opposite longitudinal surface of the member includes a plurality of step-like serrations. With one stabilizer mounted to each of the two ladder rails, and the ladder leaned against a structure for conventional use, the step-like serrations reduce the risk of movement of the ladder relative to the structure, and therefore promote safe use of the ladder.

  • Patent number: 7442148
Abstract: In a method for operating a motor vehicle in the event of a shift of a power divider actuated by external force, before the commencement of the shift of the power divider, a control device reduces the torque at the shifting members involved in the shift. The vehicle transmission is an automatic transmission, and the reduction is achieved a clutch in the automatic transmission is opened. After the conclusion of the shift, a torque is permitted again at said shifting members, and the clutch is closed again. The vehicle driver can consequently execute a shift in the power divider merely by triggering a shift requirement.

  • Publication number: 20060252598
Abstract: 1. A method for operating a motor vehicle in the event of a shift of a power divider actuated by external force. 2.1. In known methods, a vehicle driver has to open a clutch actuated by foot force in the drive train, before a shift of the power divider can be executed. The object of the invention is to propose a method, by means of which it becomes possible for the motor vehicle to be operated comfortably. 2.2. According to the invention, before the commencement of the shift of the power divider (20), a control device (16) reduces a torque at the shifting members (23, 24, 25, 26) involved in the shift. The transmission is designed, in particular, as an automatic transmission (15), and the reduction is achieved in that a clutch (18) in the automatic transmission (15) is opened. After the conclusion of the shift, a torque is permitted again at said shifting members (23, 24, 25, 26), and the clutch (18) is closed again.
