  • Publication number: 20160030573
Abstract: This invention relates to stable pharmaceutical compositions of 5,10-methylene-(6R)-, -(6S)-, or -(6R,S)-tetrahydrofolate (MTHF), by adjusting a basic pH and the simultaneous use of citrate. Stabilisation is effected even in the absence of a reducing agent. The present invention is particularly suitable for producing lyophlisation solutions and lyophilisates or dry powders and dry mixtures, since the stable MTHF solutions can be used in high concentrations for filling corresponding vessels such as vials, ampoules, etc. The lyophilisates have a surprisingly long shelf life and are surprisingly stable. They can be reconstituted without problems by adding wateror aqueous solutions, and the final clear injection solutions again exhibit excellent stability properties. Moreover, the present invention even makes it possible to prepare difficulty soluble calcium 15 or acidic salts of MTHF in high concentrations and as physiologically compatible isotonic solutions.

  • Patent number: 9180128
Abstract: This invention relates to stable pharmaceutical compositions of 5,10-methylene-(6R)-, -(65)- or -(6R,S)-tetrahydrofolate (MTHF), by adjusting to a basic pH and the simultaneous use of citrate. Stabilisation is effected even in the absence of a reducing agent. The present invention is particularly suitable for producing lyophilisation solutions and lyophilisates or dry powders and dry mixtures, since the stable MTHF solutions can be used in high concentrations for filling corresponding vessels such as vials, ampoules, etc. The lyophilisates have a surprisingly long shelf life and are surprisingly stable. They can be reconstituted without problems by adding water or aqueous solutions, and the final clear injection solutions again exhibit excellent stability properties. Moreover, the present invention even makes it possible to prepare difficultly soluble calcium 15 or acidic salts of MTHF in high concentrations and as physiologically compatible isotonic solutions.

  • Patent number: 7612209
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for the manufacture of pseudo proline dipeptides of the formula wherein R1 is a side chain of an alpha amino acid, R2 is an amino protecting group and R3 and R4 are independently either hydrogen or C1-4-alkyl, and R5 is hydrogen or methyl starting from an amino acid derivative of the formula wherein R1 and R2 are as defined above. Pseudo proline dipeptides can be used as reversible protecting groups for Ser, Thr and Cys and thus are versatile tools in peptide chemistry.

  • Publication number: 20090145884
Abstract: In order to additionally develop a forming device for delivering at least one root shielding gas to the root side of at least one region to be joined of at least one object, as well as a corresponding method, such that discolorations and the formation of coatings on the object to be joined are effectively prevented, the invention proposes that the delivered root shielding gas is directed, and guided or deflected in the direction along the root side of the region to be joined.

  • Publication number: 20090020510
Abstract: A method for electric arc joining, in particular for arc welding and/or arc soldering, under protective gas using the method of T[ungsten] l[nert] G[as] joining, in particular TIG welding and/or TIG soldering, at least one gas mixture having the composition essentially argon and/or helium and carbon dioxide in a proportion range from approximately 0.2 volume-percent (vol.-%) to approximately 0.7 vol.-% being supplied as the protective gas, as well as a corresponding protective gas, in such a manner that weld pool movements, electric arc turbulence, and occurrences of wear of the T[ungsten] l[nert] G[as] electrode may be reliably avoided. The protective gas also has hydrogen in a proportion range from approximately 1.8 vol.-% to approximately 9 vol.-%.

  • Patent number: 7388170
Abstract: This invention provides a method for on-site production of a protective gas mixture for arc joining, in particular for arc welding. Gaseous argon is removed from a liquid argon supply and helium is added to the argon, and a doping gas premix which is prepared separately on-site is added. Various combinations of argon, helium and the doping gas premix are supplied via a protective gas supply device which supplies multiple workplaces with different gas mixtures without the need for specialty gas mixing equipment.

  • Patent number: 7307234
Abstract: A protective gas supply device for on-site supply of workplaces is provided, in which a liquid argon reservoir, a liquid oxygen reservoir or a liquid carbon dioxide reservoir, and a helium supply are connected to first and second mixers supplying gas to site workplaces. The liquid argon reservoir and the liquid oxygen or carbon dioxide reservoir are connected to the feed side of the first mixer via lines, and the discharge side of the first mixer is connected to at least one workplace and to the feed side of a second mixer. The feed side of the second mixer also receives helium from the helium supply, and the discharge side of the second mixer is connected to at least one additional workplace. The invention permits economical mixing and supply of variable protective gas mixtures to work stations in an on-site environment.
