  • Publication number: 20230221202
Abstract: A fluid device comprising a body with a membrane extending in a mean plane and showing an inner face and an outer face; a strain gauge arranged on the outer face of the membrane for measuring a deformation of the membrane when a fluid pressure is applied on the inner face thereof; wherein a bore is formed in the body, extending along an axis parallel to the mean plane of the membrane and delimiting a passage for the fluid under pressure, in fluid connection with the inner face of the membrane.

  • Patent number: 10578223
Abstract: A valve for pressurized gas or chemical agent. The valve comprises: a body with: an inlet, an outlet, and a passage which connects the inlet with the outlet and which includes a seat]. The valve further comprises a sliding piston able to engage with the seat in order to close the passage and a telescopic extension sliding against the passage in order to guide the piston in the passage at least between the open position and the closed position. The pressure difference between opposite faces of the piston pulls away the piston and the telescopic extension from the seat in order to open the passage, the passage remaining closed under pressure equilibrium. Additionally, a fire extinguishing system.

  • Publication number: 20120152571
Abstract: A high pressure gas discharge valve for a fire-extinguishing or explosion-preventing system including: a valve body with a gas inlet channel and a gas outlet channel; a valve seat arranged between the channels; and a triggering chamber; a closing piston which is slidably movable within the valve body and has a first end portion forming a pressure surface in the triggering chamber, a second end portion forming a sealing surface, with which it can be sealingly pressed against the valve seat, and a pressure compensation channel via which the triggering chamber communicates with the inlet channel when the closing piston rests on the valve seat; a triggering port in communication with the triggering chamber, for connecting thereto a low pressure triggering device that is capable of generating a pressure drop in the triggering chamber; and a pressure-reducing valve for reducing a pressure of high pressure gas to a reduced pressure suitable for the low pressure triggering device.

  • Publication number: 20090165867
Abstract: A gas tank containing a compressed combustible gas is equipped with a safety relief system providing an emergency discharge of the compressed combustible gas through a relief line. The safety relief system includes a pressurized triggering hose that extends through a selected risk area around the tank, where a rupture of the triggering hose, due to a temperature increase or mechanical damage, results in a pressure drop in the safety relief system that triggers an emergency discharge of the pressurized combustible gas from said gas tank.

  • Patent number: 6836217
Abstract: The invention relates to a carbon dioxide fire extinguishing device comprising a capacitive measuring device (11) which is calibrated for a temperature range above and below the critical temperature of carbon dioxide and which is used to detect the amount of gas loss from a carbon dioxide pressure tank (10). The carbon dioxide fire extinguishing device comprises an outlet valve in which the capacitive measuring probe (12) is integrated in such an advantageous way that the outflow resistance of the extinguishing gas is hardly increased at all.
