Abstract: Cutting elements having a slanted top surface for an improved cutter to blade transition, the slanted top surface being integratable into a receiving pocket of a bit blade such that the slanted top surface and the perimeter of the receiving pocket are relatively contiguous when the slanted cutter is mounted within the receiving pocket. Also, a bit with slanted cutters as well as a method of manufacturing a bit having slanted cutters.

The top and bottom members are joined together by a pair of side members forming a structure with an orifice. Each of the top and bottom members are hollow in a cross section, as are each of the side members so that a fluid contained in the members can flow from one member to another.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus for connecting a device or implement to a tractor wherein the tractor is equipped with a conventional three-point hitch. The apparatus includes a frame having a top member and a bottom member, which are joined together by a pair of side members. Each side member is adapted to be pivotably connected to a hydraulic lift arm of a tractor and the top member is adapted to be pivotably connected to a top arm of a tractor. Each of said side members further adapted to be pivotably connected to a stabilizer bar. The stabilizer bar is adapted to be pivotably connected to said tractor. The stabilizer bars prevent lateral movement and upward movement of the frame when the frame is connected to a tractor.

Abstract: A soil sub-surface trenching apparatus adapted to deliver a ribbon deposit of an aggregate material to form a downwardly extending curtain thereof below the soil surface level and thereby provide a soil conditioning method for accomplishing a wide range of subsoil characteristic modifications, being as varied as surface level drainage enhancement with the use of a porous aggregate material in recreational and agricultural applications and the like to that of soil sub-surface stabilization improvement with the use of a solidifying aggregate material for surface level vehicular parking applications and the like.

Abstract: A new Fruit Picking Assist Mechanism for assisting fruit pickers and people pruning fruit trees. The inventive device includes a wheeled vehicle, a plurality of remote working platforms provided on opposite sides of the wheeled vehicle wherein the plurality of remote working platforms are vertically and horizontally maneuverable with respect to the wheeled vehicle, and a fruit transporting system for transferring picked fruit from each of the plurality of remote working platforms to the wheeled vehicle.

Abstract: Particulate expandable styrene polymers are coated with a distilled acetylated monoglyceride product to reduce the cooling time of articles molded from such expandable styrene polymers. Coating of the expandable particulate styrene polymer is obtained by contacting the polymer with an emulsion of a distilled acetylated monoglyceride and water with a suitable surfactant. The distilled acetylated monoglyceride is a liquid at room temperature and is substantially completely acetylated.

Abstract: A louver assembly that includes a rectangular frame. Vertically spaced louver blades span side members of the frame. A gutter member overlies the louver blades and underlies an upper member of the frame. The gutter member includes an outer wall panel having an upper edge terminating beneath an outer face of the upper member to define a transverse water inlet opening receiving rain water from the upper member and from a wall thereabove. Downspout means in one of the side frames receives water from the gutter member. Water from the louver blades is also received in one of the side frames but the water from the gutter member is isolated from the louver blades.
