  • Patent number: 10220690
Abstract: A roof for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The roof has a cover element which can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between a closed position and at least one open position and a wind deflector which is arranged on a front edge of the roof opening and which can be moved between a retracted position and at least one extended position. The cover element is wider than the wind deflector. At least one wind deflecting element is arranged on both sides outside the wind deflector. In an extended position, the respective wind deflecting element can be exposed in the manner of an ascending ramp or inclined plane towards the rear in the direction of the cover element arranged in the open position such that lateral, outer partial regions of the cover element are covered towards the front by the respective wind deflecting elements.

  • Patent number: 6629718
Abstract: A motor vehicle having a fixed roof is provided which can be opened and has a front and a rear roof part which are connected to each other in an articulated manner and, controlled by a main link arrangement, can be shifted between a closing position and a storage position in a rear storage space, having a fixed rear window which is mounted pivotably on lateral roof pillars and the pivot axis of which runs in the central region of the rear window in the transverse direction of the vehicle. The rear window is driven in a rotational manner relative to the roof pillars during the opening and closing movement of the fixed roof, and the rear window, after reaching the closing position of the fixed roof, is pressed via the rotational drive against a sealing seat interacting with the rear window.

  • Patent number: 6149223
Abstract: A lowerable rear window that can be convex or bent for a folding roof of a vehicle that has lateral C-pillars is provided for a passenger vehicle. The rear window is designed as a separate part and is locked in the closed state to the folding roof. The rear window has control levers on each side. The rear window is separated from the C-pillars and the folding roof by the rotary movement of the control levers and can be stowed behind a tank of the vehicle.
