  • Publication number: 20220033073
Abstract: The image capture and obstacle detection assembly comprises a support device intended to be mounted on a platform, for example a drone, an image capture unit comprising at least one camera for capturing images and an obstacle detection unit comprising at least one obstacle sensor, the image capture unit and the obstacle detection unit being carried by the support device, the support device being configured such that the image capture unit is rotatable about at least one rotation axis and the obstacle detection unit is rotatable about at least one rotation axis.

  • Publication number: 20190075513
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for broadcasting a network identifier associated with a first protocol, the network comprising a mobile terminal and a removable accessory for a hosting medium, the accessory comprising a camera, a first data transceiver according to the first protocol, the broadcasting method being implemented by the hosting medium comprising a second on-board transceiver within the hosting medium, and capable of communicating according to a second communication protocol, the method comprising at least, once the accessory is connected to the hosting medium: the broadcasting of a message comprising an identifier of the hosting medium and representative of the connection of the accessory, the configuration and the broadcasting by the first transceiver of a network identifier (SSID) identical to the identifier of the hosting medium.

  • Patent number: 9381442
Abstract: The present invention relates to a toy comprising at least two parallel wheels each comprising a hub (14), a rim (16) provided with a tread (18), and a plurality of spokes (20) made of an elastically deformable material. The unit formed by the hub and the spokes is mounted into the rim under compressive stress on the spokes, so as to produce, by buckling effect, a bending of the spokes curving these latter and offsetting axially the plane of the hub with respect to that of the rim. The unit can hence take two stable positions in the direction of bending of the spokes, i.e. an extended position with an enlarged track and a retracted position with a reduced track. It is just needed to apply an external mechanical effort on the rim, in one direction or the other, to reverse the direction of bending of the spokes, and thus to switch from the extended position to the retracted position, or vice versa.

  • Patent number: 9381443
Abstract: The present invention relates to a toy including a carriage (12), a pair of wheels (14), a sliding part (16) mobile along the carriage between extended and retracted positions, a spring stressed between the carriage and the sliding part, and means adapted to i) to progressively store a mechanical energy in the spring by displacement of the sliding part towards the retracted position, and ii) to release the thus-stored energy. The sliding part includes an end (32) supporting a jaw (34) and a pad (36). The carriage includes a protruding part (24) supporting another jaw (28) and another pad (30). The carriage may be oriented relative to the ground between several functionally distinct stable positions, with a default position where the toy rests in stable equilibrium on the two wheels and the pad (36), and a pulling/grasping position where the toy rests in stable equilibrium on the two wheels and the other pad (30) and where the second jaws is movable parallel to the ground, further or closer to the first jaw.

  • Publication number: 20160184721
Abstract: This robot includes a body with a carriage (12) and a pair of wheels (14), as well as a sliding part (16) supporting a contact pad (36) allowing, through abrupt liberation of the energy stored in a spring, to cause a leap of the robot above the ground. It further includes a tail stand (50), fastened to the robot body at a fixation point located remote from the sliding part and in a region (24) at the opposite from the ground according to the main direction (?) of the carriage. The tail stand forms at its distal end (56) an alternative ground-bearing point (A3), in a region located beyond the circumference of the wheels (14). The tail stand is at least partially elastically deformable by bending so as to allow under stress a moving of its distal end (56) closer to or away from the point (58) of fixation to the robot body.

  • Publication number: 20150352454
Abstract: The mechanism comprises a part (116) sliding with respect to a base (102), locking means (144, 154) and control means adapted i) to store energy in elastic means (122) by contraction of the sliding part and ii) to release the energy by extending the sliding part by releasing of the locking means. The control means comprise an arm (130) articulated on the sliding part (116), a part (140) driven by a motor, with a cam surface (144) stressing a finger (134) integral with the arm, and a lock (150). In a first mode, the sliding part (116) is contracted via the arm (130) through the finger (134), then released after the reaching of a release area (C) of the cam surface, in the same rotation of the rotary part, whereas in a second mode, the sliding part (116) is contracted, then locked by the lock (150), then released after the reaching of a release are (D) formed by the cam surface, causing the unlocking by a reverse rotation of the rotary part.
