    Abstract: In an embodiment, a Group III nitride transistor device includes a Group III nitride-based semiconductor body having a Group III nitride barrier layer arranged on a Group III nitride channel layer and forming a heterojunction therebetween capable of supporting a two-dimensional charge gas. A switching Group III nitride transistor device and a current sense Group III nitride transistor device are formed in the Group III nitride-based semiconductor body. The current sense Group III nitride transistor device is electrically insulated from the switching Group III nitride transistor device by local interruption of the two-dimensional charge gas.

    Abstract: A semiconductor package includes: a leadframe having first, second and third die pads and leads, each die pad having upper and lower surfaces; first and second power semiconductor devices; a control semiconductor device; and a mold compound. The upper surface of each die pad is arranged within the mold compound. The lower surface of the second die pad is spaced apart from a side face of the semiconductor package by a distance that is greater than a length of the individual leads. The first power semiconductor device is mounted on the upper surface of the first die pad and electrically coupled to the second die pad by one or more first connectors extending between the first device and the upper surface of the second die pad.     Abstract: A vehicle component is provided for a motor vehicle, such as an interior fitting part, and particularly for a component of a vehicle cockpit. The component has a hybrid structure that includes a metal part and a polymeric component. The metal part is surrounded by the polymeric component in a first region. The metal part has a second region which is free from the polymeric component. The second region is connected to a metal reinforcement. The polymeric component may comprise glass fibers. The first region of the metal part may be frame-shaped, and the second region may be arranged in a central region of the metal part. The metal reinforcement may be permanently secured to the metal part, such as by welding, or by an interference or form fit. The metal part may be surrounded by the polymeric component by injection molding and/or shaping.
