  • Publication number: 20050161625
Abstract: An adjustable metering actuator assembly for controlling the operation of a flush valve of a pressurized water closet includes a plunger assembly including a plunger carrying a tapered needle valve pin that is axially movable relative to an inlet orifice, the closing speed of the flush valve controlled by the fluid flow rate through the inlet orifice and the needle valve pin axially repositionable with respect to the plunger to change the diametral clearance between the tapered portion of the needle valve pin and the inlet orifice, thereby adjusting the fluid flow rate through the inlet orifice and thus, the bowl refill volume of the pressurized water closet.
