Abstract: For the purpose of erecting and filling a folding box which has closure flaps on two opposite sides, the folding box is removed from a store and erected such that the closure flaps are arranged on its upper side and its underside. The lower closure flaps are folded over and the underside of the folding box is thus closed, whereupon products are introduced into the folding box. Then, the upper closure flaps are folded over, as a result of which the upper side of the folding box is closed. Thereafter, both the upper closure flaps and the lower closure flaps are fixed in their closed position in a downstream fixing apparatus.

Abstract: A folding box stack transferring apparatus in a packaging machine has a gripping apparatus which is arranged on an adjustable manipulator. The gripping apparatus has at least two gripping jaws which can be moved toward one another in a clamping direction and between which the folding box stack can be clamped. In addition, a suction apparatus is provided which can be adjusted by means of an adjusting apparatus in such a way that the suction apparatus can be brought selectively into or out of contact with the surface of the folding box stack. In the case of the transfer of a folding box stack, the suction apparatus is brought into contact with the surface of the folding box stack, and the suction apparatus is activated at least temporarily during the transfer of the folding box stack.

Such a transfer device has a multiple-member articulated arm, which has at least one 1st arm member that is mounted to pivot about a rotary axis and directly or indirectly pivotably supports at least one holding member. The holding member carries at least one holding device by means of which the tube can be picked up and which can be pivoted about an axis that is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tube or that coincides therewith.

Abstract: A device for inserting products into packaging containers in a packaging machine has a first continuously driven conveyor device, on which the products can be transported, and a second continuously driven conveyor device, on which the packaging containers can be transported. An insertion device is provided, which has a revolving insertion conveyor device and by which the products an be inserted into the packaging containers in the insertion direction. A pre-insertion unit has a cover device, which can be moved in the insertion direction, and which rests on the products during the insertion movement. The pre-insertion unit has a carriage, which can be moved back and forth using a first drive device along a first linear guide which runs in the movement direction of the first conveyor device. A second linear guide, which runs in the insertion direction and along which the cover device can be moved back and forth using a second drive device, is implemented on the carriage.

Abstract: A tube handling device for inserting tubes into a tube filling machine, relocating tubes within the tube filling machine and/or removing tubes from the tube filing machine, comprises at least one movable carrier having a plurality of tube grippers disposed in at least one gripper row. An adjusting device is disposed on the carrier comprising at least one drive device whose drive mechanism can be translated into a relative motion of the tube grippers along the gripper row using a transfer device. The tube grippers can be adjusted using the adjusting device between a first relative position in which they have a first predetermined mutual distance, and at least one second relative position in which they have a second predetermined mutual distance. The transfer device is thereby formed by scissor action arms which can be pulled apart and pushed together using the drive device.
