  • Publication number: 20070007879
Abstract: A system and apparatus for manufacturing a low vapor pressure vapor stream lean in low volatility contaminants, and delivering same to a point of use. The system provides a transport vessel having a liquid phase or two-phase fluid held therein. The liquid and/or two-phase is transferred from said transport vessel to a vaporization vessel, wherein at least part of the liquid is vaporized. A liquid stream that is enriched in low volatility contaminants is withdrawn from the vaporization vessel, and a stream that is lean in low volatility contaminants is withdrawn from the vaporization vessel. The low vapor pressure stream is delivered to a point of use and the purity is maintained within a desired range.

  • Publication number: 20060260657
Abstract: A system and apparatus for the delivery of a high purity carbon dioxide fluid is provided. The system includes at least two separate semiconductor applications, wherein one of said applications requires refrigeration. A first portion of the carbon dioxide stream is drawn off the supply line and directing it to a first semiconductor application. A second portion is drawn off the supply line and routed to a second semiconductor application across a pressure-reduction device thereby reducing the temperature and pressure of the second gas, entering the second semiconductor application.

  • Publication number: 20050288485
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for pretreating a polymeric material in a treatment chamber. The method includes providing a polymeric material component into the treatment chamber and introducing a carbon dioxide fluid in supercritical state therein. The component is exposed to the carbon dioxide fluid to extract non-volatile organic residue contained in the component. The contaminated carbon dioxide fluid containing the extracted non-volatile organic residue is removed from the treatment chamber such that the organic residue does not deposit onto the polymeric material component by depressurizing the treatment chamber. Thereafter, the component is removed from the treatment chamber.

  • Patent number: 6082654
Abstract: A yarn feeder (F) including a holding device (H) for holding a yarn braking body in an extension arm (2, 2a) of a housing, a support body (6a) for a holder (5) of the yarn braking body (4) and a moving drive including a cylindrical piston (6b) which is movable in a cylinder (7) to move the yarn braking body (4) between a braking position and a gap position relative to a storage body (3) of the yarn feeder (F). The piston (6b) is arranged as an integrated guide element of the support body (6a) on the support body (6a). At least one guide nose (9) which engages into a guide track (10) fixed onto the extension arm is provided as a rotation preventing member on the piston and/or on the support body at a transverse distance from the piston axis (X).

  • Patent number: 5947403
Abstract: A yarn feeding device with a housing, a storage body, an extension arm of said housing, and a holder in the extension arm for an annular yarn braking body which can axially be pressed against the storage body. The holder in said extension arm being slidably guided and being movable between a braking position and a gap position with respect to the storage body. A quick adjustment mechanism which can be manually actuated by means of a handle is provided on or in the extension arm for the holder and allows the holder to be moved in a single stroke from the braking position into the gap position.
