  • Patent number: 8249457
Abstract: The invention presents a method and a device for bidirectional IR data transfer between a medical treatment table, particularly an operating table (10a to 10d), and an operator control device (12a to 12d) which are subscribers in the IR data transfer and which each comprise an IR transmitter and an IR receiver, where the data to be transferred by a subscriber (10a to 10d, 12a to 12d) are split into data blocks which are transmitted in succession, with a respective break being observed between the transmission of the individual data blocks, and where data from another subscriber are transmitted within the breaks.

  • Publication number: 20070107129
Abstract: In a patient bed for an operating table, comprising a plurality of bed portions (18, 32, 70, 72), of which a middle portion (18) is designed for connection to the supporting column of the operating table and which are coupled releasably to one another via interfaces (30, 68), at least one bed portion (70, 72) being adjustable in relation to an adjacent bed portion (32) in the region of an interface (68), the middle portion (18) of the bed (16) is connectable at at least one of its ends, via a first interface (30), to the one end of an intermediate portion (32) which is connectable at its other end, via a second interface (68), to a further bed portion (70, 72), the first interface (30) having two first coupling elements (34, 36) which engage positively one in the other for a rigid connection and which have transmission elements coming into contact with one another during interengagement and intended for the transmission of signals and/or energy, and the second interface (68) comprising two second coupling ele

  • Patent number: 4629463
Abstract: The connection of the facing ends of a tubular bone cut by an operation consists of a cylindrical metal pin with an open-cell metallic outer layer on a cylindrical metal core and with annular grooves for receiving stop surfaces which come to bear against the bone ends. The stop surfaces are suitably formed as flat interrupted rings of circumference slightly greater than half the circumference of the annular grooves and arranged to project outwardly of the grooves. A longitudinal groove intersects the annular grooves and receives a longitudinal flange projecting outwardly of the longitudinal groove and connected to the stop surfaces. The connection may be used as an endoprosthesis in which case only one stop surface is employed.
