  • Patent number: 11662131
Abstract: An assembly and method for constructing or modifying a portable or non-portable ice chest, refrigerator, or other cooler for temporarily installing one or more faucets and related beverage dispensing equipment for cooling and dispensing beer or other beverages such that when cooler is not being used for dispensing beer or other beverages, the one or more faucets and the related dispensing equipment can be removed to allow the cooler to be used for other cooling services.

  • Publication number: 20080026860
Abstract: Cue sticks, shaft sections of cue sticks, and methods of using such devices are disclosed, where the devices are configured to reduce the phenomenon of cue ball deflection. In particular, limits upon the mass of the cue stick in a section extending from the tip to a predetermined distance toward the butt end are revealed to improve cue ball deflection characteristics. Other embodiments of the invention place a lower limit on the bending stiffness of the tip end of a cue stick or shaft to reduce accentuation of cue ball deflection under high offset/high velocity conditions. As well, an upper limit on specific section modulus is described for deterring the phenomenon of double strike in off center ball strikes.

  • Publication number: 20060013226
Abstract: A technique transfers data over a packet-switched network (PSN), comprising a plurality of intermediate nodes, in a manner that does not require that the intermediate nodes support a network layer infrastructure. A network controller coupled to the intermediate nodes acquires topology information associated with the PSN's topology. This information may include pseudo-wire definitions, ingress and egress interface information, ingress and egress labels, and so on. The network controller generates a transport database from the topology information and distributes the transport database to the intermediate nodes. An intermediate node acquires the transport database information and configures a packet-processing engine (PPE), contained within the intermediate node, to process packets acquired by the intermediate node.

  • Patent number: 4749943
Abstract: An automatic test apparatus for circuit boards in which the system is divided into an assembly sub-system, and a control sub-system. Probes are transferred from a magazine to a test head that is comprised of a base plate and probe plate along with associated support tables that enable X and Y translation of the probe plate to accommodate random pattern test points. The assembled test head is conveyed to a test station wherein a pressure plate contacts the circuit board being tested which in turn contacts the test head to carry out testing. The control sub-system covers control of all aspects of probe transfer including control of ejector members for probe transfer.
