The method includes predicting, using the trained machine learning model, the estimated time of arrival of the equipment at the destination location for the particular trip when no historical trip data exists for the particular trip. The trained machine learning model can use an ensemble of tree models for the predicting of the estimated time of arrival of the equipment at the destination location. The ensemble of tree models can sequentially combine predictions of multiple tree models arranged in a sequence of models.

    Abstract: A method for handling printing plates, namely for arranging printing plates in cassettes that are used as printing plate repositories during a printing plate change, is disclosed. Each printing plate is assigned a coding before, during or after imaging relating to a plate cylinder position of a printing couple at which the respective printing plate is used. Each imaged and coded printing plate is transported to the region of a cassette. In the region of each cassette, the coding of the printing plates is read out, and in doing so a check is made to see whether the printing plates are located at the correct cassette. If it is established that the printing plates are located at the correct cassette, a defined accommodation position in the cassette is released for each printing plate and the printing plate is positioned at this accommodation position within the cassette.

The plate has a plate-like main body serving as a subject carrier, with a leading end which is angled-off relative to the main body, and with a trailing end which is angled-off relative to the main body where the printing plate can be mounted or placed on a form cylinder of a printing machine via the leading end and the trailing end, and where the leading end and the trailing end are symmetrically angled-off relative to the main body such that the leading end and the trailing end enclose an approximately identical angle with one side of the main body. The leading end and the trailing end each enclose an angle between 85° and 90° with the side of the main body.

    Abstract: A printing unit of a rotary printing press with a transfer cylinder and a form cylinder interacting with the transfer cylinder is disclosed. The body length of the transfer cylinder and the form cylinder corresponds to six horizontal or upright print pages and the transfer cylinder has two channels offset by 180° in the circumferential direction to accommodate printing blankets. Two or three printing blankets are arranged next to one another in the longitudinal direction of the transfer cylinder. With the arrangement of two printing blankets, one printing blanket is twice as wide as the second printing blanket and the printing blankets each are attached in one of the two channels offset by 180°. With the arrangement of three printing blankets, two adjacent printing blankets are attached in a channel and the third printing blanket is attached in the offset channel.
