  • Publication number: 20190323748
Abstract: The invention relates to an insert (1) for a thermostatic expansion valve as a thermostatic expansion valve (2) comprising such an insert and to a method of assembling such a thermostatic expansion valve (2). The insert (1) comprises an expansion valve element (3) and an expansion valve seat (4). The expansion valve element (3) is held inside the insert (1) by a biasing member (5), wherein the insert (1) is structured and arranged to be inserted into a valve housing (8). The task of the invention is to provide an insert for a thermostatic expansion valve that allows a simple assembly of the valve and also provides an improved functionality. The task is solved in that the insert (1) further comprises a control valve (12), wherein the control valve (12) is located in the same flow path through the insert (1) as the expansion valve seat (4).

  • Publication number: 20130260788
Abstract: System and method for determining travel or dwell times of entities such as people, animals, vehicles, boats, and airplanes. A start and end time are determined based on measurements from one or more receivers measuring signals emitted by a transmitter transported by the entity. The invention also provides a computer system for determining a travel time based on measurements of signals from the transmitter.

  • Publication number: 20120216404
Abstract: A method to manufacture a valve using metal injection moulding is disclosed. The valve housing comprises a welding cap for welding the upper part of the valve to the valve housing. The welding cap is placed so the upper part can be welding to the housing without damaging the inner cavity of the housing. There is a gab between the welding cap and the inner liner so the heat from the welding to not damage the inner liner allowing the inner parts of the valve to move freely.

  • Publication number: 20070120064
Abstract: An instrument for checking quality of therapeutic x-ray and electron radiation provides modes optimized for both electrons and for photons obtained by physically flipping the unit to interpose the necessary build-up material between the radiation beam and contained detectors. The invention provides an improved method of constructing ionization detectors for improved energy discrimination using such detectors and wire-free operation.
