  • Patent number: 7276009
Abstract: The invention relates to a servo drive comprising an electromechanical energy converter, which has a rotatably mounted disc rotor for generating a torque and a stepping up mechanism that is connected downstream of the disc rotor, for coupling the disc rotor to an output element and for stepping up the torque that acts on the disc rotor and comprising a locking mechanism that locks a rotational displacement of the output element, when a torque is introduced on the output side. According to the invention, the locking mechanism comprises a coil spring which can be radially expanded and compressed and which extends around the outer periphery of the stepping up mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6905163
Abstract: An armrest assembly for a motor vehicle door provides an armrest that may be positionally adjusted by a drive unit and a transfer member which may be displaced along an adjustment direction on activating the drive unit. The armrest may be connected to the drive unit. The position of the armrest in the motor vehicle door may be adjusted in the vehicle longitudinal direction and/or in a direction perpendicular to the vehicle longitudinal direction and perpendicular to the adjusting direction of the armrest.

  • Patent number: 6837544
Abstract: An adjuster mechanism for setting the height of an armrest on a motor vehicle door includes a drive unit and an adjuster gear arranged after the drive unit, which, on activating the drive unit, performs an adjusting movement for setting the height of the armrest. The adjuster gear for setting the height of the armrest executes a tilting movement of the armrest.

  • Patent number: 6796601
Abstract: An armrest subassembly for a motor vehicle is provided, which includes an arm support adjustable along a vertical vehicle axis, and a guide device through which the arm support is guided. According to one embodiment of the invention, the guide device has just one guide element which entends longitudinally along the adjustment direction with which the arm support is guided in the adjustment direction so that forces acting on the arm support in the vehicle longitudinal direction are introduced through the guide element into the supporting door element and movement of the arm support in the vehicle longitudinal direction is substantially prevented.

  • Publication number: 20040075297
Abstract: The invention relates to an armrest subassembly for the door of a motor vehicle, which can be mounted in a motor vehicle having a longitudinal vehicle axis and a vertical vehicle axis. The inventive armrest subassembly comprises an arm support whose height can be adjusted along the vertical axis of the motor vehicle and a guide device enabling the support to be guided along the vertical axis. The guide device is provided with an elongate guide element (1a, 43) along the direction of adjustment (z) of the arm support (2), said guide element enabling the arm support (2) to be guided in such a way that the forces exerted upon the arm support (2) are transmitted by the elongate guide element (1a, 3) into a bearing door element (5,50) and the arm support (2) is prevented from moving in the longitudinal direction (x) of the motor vehicle.
