  • Patent number: 8201391
Abstract: A method for operation of an internal combustion engine, comprising an exhaust treatment device in the exhaust system thereof, with application of a reagent under given operating conditions of the internal combustion engine and/or the exhaust treatment device and a device for carrying out the method are disclosed, wherein a correction parameter is determined for a reagent signal, describing the amount of reagent to be introduced into the exhaust system and the correction parameter is determined by means of a comparison of a measure of the actual amount of the reagent in the exhaust system, which should be introduced based on a measure of a pre-determined set amount and the measure of the set amount. The above method permits a particularly exact maintenance of the amount of reagent introduced into the exhaust system in accordance with the pre-determined measure for the set amount.

  • Patent number: 7890245
Abstract: A device and a method for controlling an internal combustion engine, in which an actual value is determined based on a lambda value and compared with a setpoint value. Based on the comparison, a correction value for a controlled variable is determined and stored. An error is detected if the correction value changes abruptly.

  • Publication number: 20100275885
Abstract: A method for determining an opening voltage of an injector having a piezo actuator, in particular an injector of an internal combustion engine, in which an output voltage is applied at the piezo actuator in the closed state of the injector, and the voltage is lowered by energizing the piezo actuator so as to open the injector. The energy supply is interrupted at a holding voltage and the voltage change present at the piezo actuator is then measured over the time, the reaching of the opening voltage being inferred in the case of a voltage rise.

  • Patent number: 7779246
Abstract: A method and device is provided for making available security functions during the transmission of data from and to a subscriber terminal of a mobile communications network. A real-time analysis of the data flow from and to the subscriber terminal is carried out in a device of a network node of the mobile communications network during which data with contents defined beforehand by the subscriber or by a network operator/provider are identified and processed. This results in protecting the terminal and subscriber's devices connected thereto from external attacks.

  • Patent number: 5554287
Abstract: A filter material forming a filter layer consisting substantially exclusively of celluloses and cellulose derivatives. In addition to cellulose acetate fibers, the filter layer contains, in the form of additives, microcrystalline cellulose and microfine cellulose, or else microcrystalline cellulose only. The amount of microcrystalline cellulose can be as high as 70% of the weight of the filter layer and that of microfine cellulose up to 50% of the weight of the filter layer. Cellulose acetate fibers can be excluded if in their place, microcrystalline cellulose having particle sizes less than 10 .mu.m. are used. The manufacturing method provides for cellulose acetate fibers to be first mixed in a wet state with microfine cellulose and microcrystalline cellulose, after which differently prepared celluloses are admixed. The mash formed by mixing is formed into a fleece by means of a known felting method, and the fleece is subsequently dried.
