  • Patent number: 6700225
Abstract: A standard high voltage circuit having a light bulb therein as a load. A low voltage DC circuit has a plurality of parallel manually actuated switches, with output contacts in the high voltage circuit and inputs in the low voltage circuit. A 7414 chip is provided to debounce the DC imposed on the low voltage circuit by the manual switches, and a chip with a toggle function is positioned in series between the 7414 chip and the high voltage circuit. Each manually actuated switch is capable, in each full throw thereof, of producing an OFF/ON/OFF, or ON/OFF/ON sequence.

  • Patent number: 5592861
Abstract: A socket having a recess in its front end fitted over a nut or bolt head, and an internal key, smaller than the recess, slidable in the socket forwardly through the socket to the exterior. The key fits in an internal socket in the nut or bolt head, and is retracted automatically in cases where there is no internal socket in the nut or bolt head. Two forms are disclosed, in one, the internal is insertable into and removed from the socket through the rear end, and in the other, through the front end. In one form, the socket can be used in the case where a nut is run down on a bolt a great distance, leaving a long extension of the bolt beyond the nut.

  • Patent number: 5582080
Abstract: The wrench includes a body with a head and a radial handle. The handle includes a rear segment adjacent the head and an outer segment for gripping by the hand. Mounted in the head is a spindle for releasably holding a socket, and a ratchet pawl. A pair of links are mounted in the body of the handle, one for each the releasing function and actuating the ratchet pawl, extending through the rear position and having pushbuttons exposed to the exterior at the juncture of the segments, for actuation by the same hand that holds the wrench.

  • Patent number: 5520075
Abstract: A one-piece socket having a hole therethrough with a rear recess for receiving the shaft of a driver tool, and a front recess for receiving the head of the workpiece (bolt) to be worked on. The hole includes a small segment for securing a key therein, the key being adjustable to extend into the front recess, and therebeyond to the exterior, selectively. The front recess engages convex surfaces on the workpiece and the key engages concave surfaces thereon. In an alternate form, the key is fixed and extends only into the recess.

  • Patent number: 4982632
Abstract: A socket having a polygonal cavity at its front end and an inner drive tool unit in the recess. The set includes a single socket and a plurality of units of different sizes, each unit including a wafer and an inner drive tool element. All the wafers have the same external dimensions, but the inner drive tool elements are of different sizes. Another form includes a plurality of units, each including a socket and an inner drive tool element, semi-fixed together.

  • Patent number: 4248435
Abstract: A ball and cup game or exercise device arranged to be supported on the waist belt of a human, wherein by proper movement of the human body the ball is caused to be moved into the cup. The device comprehends a unitary structure having limbs engaging the waist belt, the front limb supporting a cup retaining the ball, which is held by a strand to the cup, upon proper movement of the body the ball moving into the cup either directly or by rebounding from the front limb.

  • Patent number: 4242932
Abstract: A fastening device including a bolt, screw or nut and a socket wrench therefor, each of the bolt, screw or nut and also the socket having polygonal surfaces one of which is greater in size and one of which is lesser in size, the greater such surface of the socket matching the greater surface of the bolt, screw or nut and the lesser such surface of the socket matching the lesser surface of the bolt, screw or nut.One feature is the provision of an auxiliary member which fits into the socket of the standard socket wrench, the auxiliary member providing the lesser polygonal surface for such socket.Another feature is the use of a round body or head having such greater or lesser polygonal surfaces.

  • Patent number: 4009634
Abstract: A toggle type of fastening device which includes a plate in one piece having an opening therein, the edges of the opening being engaged by a screw, the ends of the plate being bendable inwardly toward each other against spring tension to allow the plate to pass through a wall opening and being resilient so that when the plate has passed through the wall opening the ends spread out and prevent the plate from being drawn back out of the wall opening. Another feature is the provision of a rib for added strength and yet another feature is the threaded engagement of the screw with the plate at different levels. The process for manufacturing such a device includes the step of forming the opening in a piece of metal, forming a rib about the opening and then treating the formed piece to make it resilient after it has been deformed.
