  • Patent number: 6925513
Abstract: A method of notifying clients of a change in a USB (Universal Serial Bus) including a first client requesting notification of a first change in the USB, detecting the first change in the USB, and notifying the first client requesting notification that the first change in the USB occured. The first change may be, for example, connection or disconnection of a USB device.

  • Patent number: 5700299
Abstract: A battery core winding apparatus for winding into an electrochemical cell, a plurality of flexible strip members comprising a first conducting flexible electrode having a first leading edge, a second conducting flexible electrode having a second leading edge, and a separator, includes a first elongate feeder bed and a second elongate feeder bed longitudinally disposed from the first feeder bed. A winding cavity is formed between the feeder beds. A first arbor half having a first flat surface and a first curvilinear winding surface is rotatingly supported within the winding cavity substantially midway between the first and the second feeder beds, and a second arbor half having a second flat surface and a second curvilinear winding surface is rotatingly supported within the winding cavity such that the second flat surface faces the first flat surface and the first and second flat surfaces are interspaced to form a slot.

  • Patent number: 5664364
Abstract: A fishhook with an eye, a shank, and a point and having a return bend portion in the shank spaced closely apart from the eye, the component of the return bend portion closest to the eye being an angular bend in the shank of about 60 degrees to 90 degrees.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 5367817
Abstract: The combination of a fishing hook, a weight, and an artificial bait which in use appears to have a moving mouth. The weight has a tapering head with a wire loop eye for attachment to the hook. The flexible artificial bait with an openable mouth is operable by tugging on the fishing line that passes through the head of the bait and is connected to the hook. The hook preferably has its eye and its point embedded in the bait.

  • Patent number: 5157860
Abstract: A fishing weight having a body with a central through bore large enough to receive a fishing line therein along a central axis and a radial slot extending from the bore outwardly to the outer surface of the body, and a resilient, slightly compressible insert of substantially the same size as the slot and adapted to be manually pushed therein, the insert having a small tab extending rearwardly from the body and adapted to be a catch for a fingernail when prying the insert out of the slot.

  • Patent number: 4984359
Abstract: An electrical connector (10; 10'; 10") includes a housing (11) that defines a solder element receiving channel (20). A solder element (24) is disposed within the channel (20), and a conductive pin (28; 28') is mounted in the housing (11) to pass through the channel (20) and the solder element (24). The channel (20) defines a loading axis (22) angled with respect to the pin (28; 28'), and the channel (20) is shaped to receive the solder element (24) along the loading axis (22) and positively to retain the solder element (24) from movement along the pin (28; 28'). The pin (28; 28') prevents the solder element (24) from moving along the loading axis (22) out of the channel (20).
