    Abstract: A rubber composition includes acrylonitrile butadiene,polychloroprene and polyoctanamer. The rubber composition is particularly useful in making the tubular portion of reinforced rubber base which has brass-coated metal braiding therearound. By using this rubber composition, the process of manufacturing reinforced rubber hose is enhanced because the compound is easily mixed, the need of process aids is minimized, and the freezing temperature necessary to crystallize the rubber is reduced.
