Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a flow of air from an air supply into a room having a floor, a ceiling, a wall, and a vertically extending passage disposed in the wall that communicates with the air supply and that extends from adjacent the floor to adjacent the ceiling includes an upper outlet disposed adjacent the ceiling that is in communication with the passage. In addition, the apparatus includes a lower outlet formed in the wall and disposed adjacent to the floor. The lower outlet is in communication with the passage and includes a first damper disposed in the passage that is movable between a closed position impeding air from flowing out the lower outlet and into the room, and an open position disposed from the closed position permitting air from the air supply to flow through the lower outlet into the room.
