  • Publication number: 20240126804
Abstract: A method at a client device includes displaying media library information corresponding to a set of media items. The media items include one or more local media items, the one or more local media items including media items stored at the client device, and one or more remote media items, the one or more remote media items including media items stored at a remote system and not at the client device. The method also includes displaying, concurrently with displaying the media library information, affordances identifying the remote media items; detecting user interaction with an affordance identifying a respective remote media item; and in response to detecting the user interaction, initiating a process for downloading a copy of the respective remote media item to the client device for storage at the client device.

  • Publication number: 20240118227
Abstract: A system for measuring the conductivity of a flexible media positioned between a conductive backing and a conductive roller, wherein the conductive roller contacts the flexible media in a roller contact region. A pressure control mechanism presses the conductive roller against the second surface of the flexible media with a specified contact pressure, and a motion control system provide a relative motion between the conductive roller and the flexible media. A resistance measuring system connected to the conductive roller and the conductive backing measures the conductivity of the flexible media within the roller contact region. A data recording system records the measured conductivity of the media as a function of position.

  • Publication number: 20240085050
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment includes: a memory configured to store computer-readable program code; and processing circuitry configured to access the memory to execute the computer-readable program code, where executing the computer-readable code causes the processing circuitry to detect that a first HVAC unit has failed to control a first environmental condition of a first confined area serviced by the first HVAC unit to meet a first predetermined setpoint for the first confined area and to draw second conditioned air from a second confined area into the first confined area until the first environmental condition meets the first predetermined setpoint by controlling the first HVAC unit to cause the first HVAC unit to reduce air pressure in the first confined area.

  • Patent number: 3998295
Abstract: A disc brake construction adapted for use on front or rear wheels of motorcycles and the like. An annular disc having opposed bearing surfaces is supported for rotation within the wheel but on and coaxial with the axle of the wheel. Braking forces are applied through brake shoes that are oppositely aligned on opposite sides of these braking surfaces. The braking shoes are actuated by a hydraulic caliper device that is supported by an annular drum coaxial with the axle. A device is provided for absorbing reaction forces upon braking without transmitting these forces to the fork supporting the axle.

  • Patent number: 3931871
Abstract: A disc brake construction adapted for use on front or rear wheels of motorcycles and the like. Annular steel discs are supported on opposite sides of the wheel hub. A pair of axially mounted face plates support hydraulically operated brake shoes having brake linings adapted to engage the disc. Spring returns cause the brake shoes to return to a disengaged position. A self-draining system and cooling manifold are integrally formed in the face plates.
