  • Publication number: 20080059208
Abstract: The present invention is directed to systems and methods for automated evaluation of sponsorship proposals, management of active sponsorship programs and measurement of the performance of the sponsorship programs. The system provides a desktop application server, which facilitates communication with sponsor users, and a portal application server, which facilitates communication with property users. The portal application server facilitates collection of the sponsorship proposal information from the property users. The desktop application server provides a plurality of web applications that facilitate objectives alignment of the sponsorship proposals, scoring and evaluation of the sponsorship proposals, management of the leverage and activation of the sponsorship assets, as well as applications for cost/value measurement of the sponsorship programs, subjective measurements of their performance and measurement of the return-on-objective of the sponsorship programs.

  • Publication number: 20060207431
Abstract: A fluid-borne (e.g., water, air) biological and chemical hazard detection and treatment system can include sensors (e.g., flow rate, contaminant detectors), treatment using ultraviolet laser-emitted light, can be microprocessor controlled and can communicate and be controlled over data networks. Treatment and detection systems can be deployed at various stages along a fluid distribution system, allowing for protection coverage and redundancy. During treatment, fluid enters into and/or passes through a “treatment area” wherein the fluid is subjected to light emanating from a laser at wavelengths within the ultraviolet range. DNA for microorganisms contained within fluid (including blood) are reactive to laser light as they pass through treatment areas and are rendered un-infective. Treatment systems can be staged in close proximity, providing more than one treatment area and associated light sources to a fluid stream.

  • Publication number: 20060059639
Abstract: A motorized cleaning implement is provided for cleaning surfaces with a cleaning substrate. The motorized cleaning implement includes a bumper pad that is connected to a motor capable of providing a reciprocating motion to the bumper pad. A cleaning substrate which includes a pocket is attached to the bumper pad.

  • Publication number: 20060048318
Abstract: A cleaning implement is provided for cleaning surfaces with a cleaning substrate. The cleaning implement includes a handle connected via a universal joint to a mop head. The mop head includes a bumper pad, which is made of a deformable and nonabsorbent material. The bumper pad can be deformed in the Z direction and within the X-Y plane. The cleaning implement can also include a motor for causing a portion of the mop head to move relative to the handle.

  • Patent number: 6134544
Abstract: A customer administrative system of a wireless communications system is interfaced with one or more system database network elements to support not only transaction oriented communications, but also query oriented communications. Logic is included in the interface to process and translate search request queries for database network element handling. Results of any searches performed in response to the queries are returned to the interface. The logic then collects the information comprising the results of the searches, and supports file transfer of the collected information to the requesting customer administrative system.

  • Patent number: 5999973
Abstract: External entity data access to the customer administrative system and database network elements of a telecommunications network is provided through a web-server and an Internet connection. The integrity and security of any stored data is protected through the use of a firewall implemented at the web-server. In one aspect, an interface is connected between the customer administrative system and database network elements and is also connected to the web-server to handle external entity requests by specifying not only which actions need to be taken but also routing the request to a proper destination. In a second aspect, the interface is by-passed with respect to the handling of external entity requests, with the web-server specifying the actions to be taken and routing the request to the proper destination.
