  • Publication number: 20240219222
Abstract: A wireless loadbar weighing system is described, including a first loadbar and a second loadbar, where the first loadbar and the second loadbar are configured to support a weighing platform in use. Each of the first loadbar and the second loadbar are configured to measure force applied by the weighing platform, and produce first measured force data and second measured force data respectively. Each of the first loadbar and the second loadbar include a processing module including a wireless communication device. At least one of the first loadbar and the second loadbar is configured to wirelessly transmit, to a remote device for further processing and/or display, at least one of: the first measured force data and the second measured force data, and a weight measurement of a mass supported by the weighing platform determined based on the first measured force data and the second measured force data.

  • Publication number: 20140236820
Abstract: Methods and systems for depositing a check using a mobile device are disclosed. Methods may include, for example, receiving, from a mobile device, a deposit request and check image, performing an image quality analysis and a check decision authorization process using the request, determining whether the deposit would exceed one or more limits, and if not, determining a type of processing for the deposit. If a warranty processing system is used, the method may include creating and sending an image file associated with the check to a bank associated with the check decision provider, and sending an approval response to a bank associated with the account issuer; and if self-risk processing is used, the method may include creating and sending an image file associated with the check to a bank associated with the account issuer. Similarly, disclosed systems may include memory containing instructions configured to operate such methods.

  • Patent number: 4020676
Abstract: An apparatus to collect contaminants from a known volume of fluid and to present the collected contaminants for analysis. The apparatus has a first container to receive the known volume of fluid and a second container to receive the fluid from the container. A contaminant trapping material is located between the two containers so that as the fluid passes from the first container to the second container it passes through the contaminant trapping material. The second container is connected to a vacuum generator used to create a vacuum in the second container. The apparatus also has means to recirculate the fluid from the second container back to the first container so that the fluid can pass through the contaminant trapping material a given number of times thereby insuring an adequate collection of contaminants. A method of collecting contaminants from a fluid and presenting the contaminants for analysis is also disclosed.
