  • Publication number: 20210252679
Abstract: A two jaw adjustable wrench having two opposing jaws that adjust inward and outward, one jaw having a left hand thread and the opposing jaw having a right hand thread for ease of adjustment. The user rotates the central knurled wheel in either a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. The direction of rotation influences the opposing jaws to move inward or outward for various fastener size adjustments. Opposite end of the ratchet wrench has a universally adaptable and slideable ratchet wrench for accepting universal ¼? hexagon tool bits such as a #1 and #2 Phillips or slotted screwdriver bits of various sizes. Both tool ends are easily retractable and extendable by sliding either tool forward for use and or retractable when not in use. The Adjustable and Ratchet Wrench's upper housing half provides two pocket-slots to store the Phillip's #1 and #2 screwdriver attachment and a #1 & #2 slotted screwdriver attachment.

  • Publication number: 20180236650
Abstract: A wrench set comprising a plurality of different sized wrenches, each of which are horizontally slideable from right to left within a cylindrically elongated upper and lower handle housing. A user selects a particular tiered wrench by rotation of the outer cylindrical, knurled, collar to select a particular tiered wrench while simultaneously sliding the cylindrical collar either in a forward or reverse longitudinal direction, depending on the wrench socket end size desired. The extended wrench is then locked in that extended working position. While the invention has been described with reference to its preferred embodiments, it will be fully understood by those skilled in the art that various changes may occur to adapt a particular situation and or material to the teachings of this invention without departing from its essential teachings.

  • Publication number: 20170334043
Abstract: A ? drive adjustable socket apparatus comprised of a three jaw socket members which ride triangularly and radially within an upper cylindrical tapered housing. The jaw members are abutted inward at 15 degrees to the jaw housing radial walls of the same angular taper. Each jaw member has an inner 120 degrees V-notch which becomes a hexagonal configuration when they are trilaterally spaced apart to accept standard hexagonal configured nuts and bolt type fasteners. The adjustable socket apparatus has a ? inch driver end which has a two slotted windows to allow the use of thumb and index finger to rotate the inner serrated wheel that is exposed through both opposite window slots on the bottom portion of the adjustable socket embodiment. The lower driver end of the adjustable socket has a ? square cavity to accept male universal ratcheting driver.

  • Publication number: 20170021476
Abstract: A foldable and retractable ratchet wrench comprised of a ¼ inch driver end that manually folds down when not in use; a ? inch fixed driver end; a ratchet arm that folds and locks to various angular positions; an exterior, knurled handle that pivotally folds outward and a cylindrical hollow tube embodiment that extends and retracts from the solid arm. The ¼ inch square driver end is housed within a horizontal square slot provided at an extending shank portion of the ratcheting gear. The ¼ inch square driver end swivels up substantially at right angle from the plane of the ratcheting head. The ratchet wrench's outer pivoted handle folds outward and is pivoted by a pivotal pin substantially at right angle. The slideable sub-tube arm is guided by a pin that rides along a longitudinal slot of said slideable sub-tube arm for various torque needs and is secured by a spring induced detent ball that seats vertically within the solid arm.

  • Publication number: 20160144490
Abstract: A wrench set comprising a plurality of different sized wrenches each of which are slideable within an elongated housing. A user selects a particular wrench by choosing an associated knurled protrusion and forcing the wrench in the forward or reverse direction by moving the knurled protrusion in that direction.

  • Patent number: 7261021
Abstract: An adjustable socket having first and second jaw members having manually selectable sizes. An exterior drive unit and a moveable inner driver unit each having serrated interlocking teeth are positioned to either engage during wrenching, or to be disengaged for socket size manual adjustments. The opposing first and second jaw members are forced by axial rotation of a spiral cam element located on the open top end of the outer drive unit to move laterally, inward or outward, when a user pulls the inner driver unit in a first direction and rotates the inner drive unit such that the first and second jaw members are positioned to engage a selected fastener head.

  • Publication number: 20040083858
Abstract: The ratchet wrench includes a ¼ inch and a ⅜ inch driver combination on opposite sides of the ratchet embodiment and a handle that extends to a plurality of lengths for various torque requirements. Each adjusted length is secured by a spring induced detent ball housed within a vertical hole on the ratchet's solid arm, the detent ball seats into a plurality of holes on the extendable handle. The smaller ¼ inch driver side is housed within the ratchet head and into a hollow ¼ inch square configured slot provided at the central axis of the ratcheting gear and fixed ⅜ inch driver unit. A manually slideable gate expels and retracts the spring induced ¼ inch driver outward to an adequate working length and is manually retracted and retained by the slideable gate. The ratchet has an ultra thin profile for use in limited working spaces and convenient storage.

  • Patent number: 5819607
Abstract: An adjustable socket includes a drive member, a plurality of jaw members supported by the drive member and selectively movable between fixed lateral positions, each fixed lateral position corresponding to a selected socket size, and a drive coupling operatively coupled to the drive member and manually movable to different positions corresponding to the selected socket size openings. The drive coupling has a substantially flat cam surface with spirally configured guide elements thereon that engage cam followers on the jaw members to move the jaw members laterally. There are a plurality indexing slots in the drive member and an indexing and locking element that selectively engages and locks into an indexing slot upon a socket size openings being selected. The number of indexing slots correspond to the number of selectable socket size openings available. There are visible indicia associated with each selectable position to indicate the selected socket size openings.
