  • Publication number: 20210095600
Abstract: A ventilation system includes a cavity, a fluid motive force device, and a motive fluid supply system. The cavity includes different ventilation level requirements for a plurality of modes of operation. The fluid motive force device includes a suction port, an outlet port, and a motive fluid inlet port. The suction port is coupled in flow communication with the cavity to be vented. A flow supply to the motive fluid inlet port determines a ventilation flow through the suction port. The motive fluid supply system is coupled in flow communication with the motive fluid inlet port. An operation of the motive fluid supply system determines a flow of motive fluid from the motive fluid supply system to the motive fluid inlet port. The flow of motive fluid to the motive fluid inlet port generates a ventilation flow through the suction port approximately matching a current ventilation demand of said cavity.

  • Patent number: 10953083
Abstract: Reported herein are novel recombinant respiratory syncytial viruses (RSV) having an attenuated phenotype in which the native positions of the NS1 and/or NS2 genes in the RSV genome are shifted to a higher position, that is at positions that are more distal to the promoter. The changes in the gene positions may be present in combination with mutations at other loci to achieve desired levels of attenuation and immunogenicity. The recombinant RSV strains described here are suitable for use as live-attenuated RSV vaccines. Also provided are polynucleotide sequences capable of encoding the described viruses, as well as methods for producing and using the viruses.

  • Patent number: 10925768
Abstract: An ophthalmic treatment system and method for performing therapy on target tissue in a patient's eye. A delivery system delivers treatment light to the patient's eye and a camera captures a live image of the patient's eye. Control electronics control the delivery system, register a pre-treatment image of the patient's eye to the camera's live image (where the pre-treatment image includes a treatment template that identifies target tissue within the patient's eye), and verify whether or not the delivery system is aligned to the target tissue defined by the treatment template. The control electronics control the delivery system to project the treatment light onto the patient's eye in response to both an activation of a trigger device and the verification that the delivery system is aligned to the target tissue, as well as adjust delivery system alignment to track eye movement.

  • Publication number: 20200334276
Abstract: Aspects include querying, by a processing system, a workflow database for a desired target entity. The processing system traverses a dependency graph that defines one or more entity and action sequences of a workflow that result in creating the desired target entity based at least in part on failing to locate the desired target entity in the workflow database. The workflow can be a bioinformatics workflow to analyze one or more digital representations of biological data. The processing system queries the workflow database to determine an entity existence status of each entity in the one or more entity and action sequences. The processing system schedules execution of an associated action that outputs each entity identified as non-existent based at least in part on the entity existence status and the one or more entity and action sequences to create the desired target entity.
