  • Publication number: 20200038139
Abstract: The invention relates to a dental treatment instrument for operating a rotational tool. The treatment instrument has a head drive, which is provided for coupling to a shaft of the rotational tool and comprises a sleeve-like guide bushing (1), and a collet (9) for fixing the rotational tool. The guide bushing (1) has surface sections (3) which form parts of a cylindrical shape in at least one first axial region. Recesses (4) are provided which face radially outwards from the surface sections (3) and which impart a shape deviating from a rotationally symmetrical shape to the inner contour of the guide bushing (1). By virtue of the surface sections (3), a circular cylindrical shaft of a rotational tool can be guided or supported in a particularly suitable manner. The recesses (4) are additionally suitable for engaging radial protrusions of a non-circular cylindrical shaft of a rotational tool such that the non-circular cylindrical shaft can be driven in a particularly suitable manner.

  • Patent number: 8795512
Abstract: A method for measuring and/or calibrating a gas sensor for determining oxygenic gas components in gas mixtures in exhaust gases of internal combustion engines. The gas sensor has one internal pump electrode IPE, one external pump electrode APE and one decomposition electrode NOE. The measurement and/or calibration may be carried out during the ongoing operation of the gas sensor by removing the gas component and/or oxygen from one of the chambers, by introducing oxygen in a controlled manner into one of the chambers with the aid of electrochemical pumping processes. The changes caused by the introduced oxygen are measured against an additional electrode and the gas sensor may be measured and/or calibrated using the measured values.

  • Patent number: 7914315
Abstract: A coupling for the production of a releasable connection between a medical, in particular a dental, handpiece part and a supply hose and for the transmission of current and if applicable further supply media from the supply hose to the handpiece part. The coupling includes two coupling elements wherein one of the two coupling elements may be arranged on the supply hose and the other on the handpiece part. A guide element is arranged on one of the two coupling elements, which guide element can be inserted into an insertion opening formed on the other coupling element. In a certain relative rotational position of the two coupling elements a pushing element having current contacts engages into a corresponding recess of the second coupling element, wherein with inserted or at least partly inserted guide element the two coupling elements can be rotated relative to one another around an axis of rotation before attainment of the predetermined coupling position.
