  • Publication number: 20250082475
Abstract: The dual mobility acetabular component includes an acetabular cup and a liner that engage one another in a relatively static relationship by way of a Morse taper. The acetabular cup and the liner may be manufactured from a metal material (e.g., titanium) that decreases the energy differential therebetween, to limit or eliminate the galvanic cell phenomenon that forms between adjacent surfaces thereof as a result of body fluid therein that remains captured in small gaps or spaces due to capillarity. As such, the dual mobility acetabular component may experience reduced fretting compared to conventional hip joints known in the art.

  • Patent number: 11983763
Abstract: Generation of dynamic electronic representations using modeling is described. Interaction data comprising attributes of one or more interactions between a user and the service provider or one or more third-party services integrated with the service provider is received. A model is executed to dynamically generate an electronic representation for a user profile based upon the interaction data, wherein the model is trained using attributes associated with a set of existing user profiles associated with the service provider and corresponding interaction data indicative of interaction data of the set of existing user profiles, and wherein the electronic representation is generated without input from the user. The electronic representation can be presented on an electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20240016626
Abstract: A hard liner removal instrument includes a barrel containing a striking mass in slidable relation therewith and a spring positioned between a first end of the barrel and the striking mass. The spring selectively moves between a normal resting position and a loaded position where the striking mass is positioned a greater distance from a second end of the barrel opposite the first end than when the spring is in the normal resting position. As such, movement of the spring from the loaded position to the normal resting position accelerates the striking mass into the second end of the barrel to generate an impulse sufficient to interrupt a Morse taper to remove one orthopedic component from another, e.g., during revision surgery.
