  • Publication number: 20230063074
Abstract: A weight distribution hitch system comprising a vehicle attachment member comprising a forward end configured to rigidly attach to a vehicle, and a rearward end extending rearwardly toward a trailer, the rearward end comprising an upper portion comprising a trailer attachment member configured to pivotally attach to a coupler of the trailer, and a lower portion configured to receive a moment bar, a moment bar forward end attached to the lower portion of the rearward end of the vehicle attachment member so as to prevent rotation about a horizontal axis, and a moment bar rearward end; a tension member comprising a top end configured to be supported by a frame member of the trailer, and a bottom end configured to support the rearward end of the moment bar, and wherein, when the tension member is in tension, it imposes an upward force on the moment bar rearward end, which, in turn, imposes a forward moment on the vehicle; and wherein the length of the moment bar is less than 28 inches is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20210370732
Abstract: A hitch system comprising a hitch shaft with a forward end configured to rigidly attach to a tow vehicle and a rearward end extending rearwardly toward a trailer frame; a head unit pivotally attached to the rearward end of the hitch shaft at a first pivot point having an upper portion and a lower portion, comprising a hitch ball on the upper portion of the head unit positioned out of vertical alignment with the first pivot point creating a second pivot point between the hitch ball and a trailer attached thereto; and a slot on the lower portion of the head unit, the slot having portions in vertical alignment with the first pivot point and the second pivot point; a first moment arm with a distal end configured for slidable attachment to a first bracket on the trailer frame and a forked proximal end comprising a first tine pivotally connected to the lower portion of the head unit; and a second tine having a knob in a sliding connection with the slot; and a second moment arm with a distal end configured for slida

  • Publication number: 20210033281
Abstract: Systems and methods for incinerating waste solids are disclosed. A fluidized bed of solid particles is provided at an elevated temperature in a reactor. The waste stream, comprising the waste solids and water, is passed onto the fluidized bed of solid particles. The fluidized bed of solid particles has a sufficiently elevated temperature to vaporize substantially all of the water into an offgas stream. The waste solids are mixed among the bed of solid particles. Sufficient heat and oxygen are provided to incinerate the waste solids.

  • Publication number: 20200406268
Abstract: Methods and systems for reducing an average particle size of blackwater solids is disclosed. A vessel is configured to receive a blackwater stream through a one-way inlet. The one-way inlet is configured to allow the blackwater stream into the vessel and prevent backflow. The blackwater stream contains blackwater solids and water. A device in a bottom portion of the vessel is configured to receive the blackwater and comminute the blackwater solids. A recirculating pump is configured to recirculate the blackwater stream under pressure through the device until the average particle size of the blackwater solids is reduced below a size threshold, resulting in a sized blackwater stream.

  • Publication number: 20200290904
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems for treating blackwater are disclosed. A storage tank and a tumbling kiln charged with a solid media are provided. Blackwater is passed into the storage tank. The blackwater contains a liquid component and a solid component. The solid media and the tumbling kiln are heated. The blackwater is passed from the storage tank to the tumbling kiln. A portion of the liquid component is vaporized as vapor. A portion of the solid component is combusted to produce combustion gases. Fresh air is circulated into the tumbling kiln. The vapor and the combustion gases are removed from the tumbling kiln.
