  • Patent number: 11962324
Abstract: A modified version of the min-sum algorithm (“MSA”) which can lower the error floor performance of quantized LDPC decoders. A threshold attenuated min-sum algorithm (“TAMSA”) and/or threshold offset min-sum algorithm (“TOMSA”), which selectively attenuates or offsets a check node log-likelihood ratio (“LLR”) if the check node receives any variable node LLR with magnitude below a predetermined threshold, while allowing a check node LLR to reach the maximum quantizer level if all the variable node LLRs received by the check node have magnitude greater than the threshold. Embodiments of the present invention can provide desirable results even without knowledge of the location, type, or multiplicity of such objects and can be implemented with only a minor modification to existing decoder hardware.

  • Patent number: 11954699
Abstract: A computer based system for remapping prime class seat bookings is disclosed. The system remaps prime class bookings a floor class, or if the floor class is closed, into a higher, displacement class. Via remapping, airline systems, such as inventory management systems, revenue management systems, and the like, may better account for the true value of prime class bookings.

  • Patent number: 11940171
Abstract: A diffuser assembly includes a first blade pivotably coupled to a housing and configured to rotate about a first axis and includes second blade pivotably coupled to the housing and configured to rotate about a second axis. The diffuser assembly includes a linkage mechanism coupled to the first blade and the second blade and configured to transition between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the linkage mechanism is configured to induce rotation of the second blade about the second axis in a first direction in response to rotation of the first blade about the first axis in the first direction. In the second configuration, the linkage mechanism is configured to induce rotation of the second blade about the second axis in a second direction, opposite the first direction, in response to rotation of the first blade about the first axis in the first direction.

  • Patent number: 11168949
Abstract: A substantially planar heat exchanger for regulating the temperature of objects using a fluid coolant includes a bottom plate, a top plate, a fin insert sealed therebetween and a coolant inlet and outlet. The fin insert may include a plurality of substantially flattened omega-shaped or teardrop-shaped fins, which enhances the transfer of heat from the top and/or bottom plates into the fin insert. The omega-shaped fin inserts enhance the contact surface area between the plates and the insert to improve thermal migration therebetween. The fin insert may be constructed, for example, by forming convolutions in a sheet of metal, and compressing the convolutions laterally inwardly and vertically inwardly.
