  • Publication number: 20230065744
Abstract: Graphical user interfaces for abating emissions of gaseous byproducts at hydrocarbon assets are described herein. In one example, a system can receive measurements of gaseous byproduct emissions from sites. The system can execute a classification module to distribute the measurements among various types of equipment. The system can then determine emissions estimates associated with the various types of equipment based on the measurements assigned to each type of equipment. Thereafter, the system can receive a user input that includes a list of types of equipment at a target site. The system can generate a total emissions estimate for each type of equipment in the list based on the emissions estimates. The system can then generate a graphical user interface providing the total emissions estimate for each type of equipment in the list to a user, which may help the user abate such emissions.

  • Patent number: 10941028
Abstract: A safety system for an elevating machine has a base part and an elevating part. The safety system includes sensor assemblies for sensing an electric or magnetic field, which are mounted on different parts of the elevating machine. A data processor is connected to receive sensor signals from the sensor assemblies. A memory stores data relating to numerous patterns of sensor signals associated with the interaction between the elevating machine and an electric or magnetic field. The data processor compares the received sensor signals with the stored data and identifies the positional relationship between the elevating machine and a source of the sensed field.

  • Patent number: 7317191
Abstract: A sensor for detecting the radio-luminescence created by radioactive sources includes a telescope, a plurality of UV sensitive cameras, and an optical system in the optical path of the telescope for directing images to the cameras. The cameras simultaneously obtain images from a plurality of spectral bands covering strong transitions of N2 molecule created by the radioactive source and at least one spectral band containing very little transition strength (a background band). The background image is used to assess the background level for the other spectral bands. The images are then fused digitally to create one image of the radio-luminescence.

  • Patent number: 7002261
Abstract: A method and apparatus is described for a downhole submersible electrical power generator. The electrical power generator includes a housing forming a fluid conduit. An inlet is disposed on the housing. Also, an outlet is disposed on the housing where the inlet and the outlet are adapted to allow a fluid to flow into and out of the housing, respectively. A fluid flow powered electrical power generator is disposed inside the housing and is adapted to generate electrical power from the fluid flowing through the housing. An isolation packer is disposed outside the housing between the inlet and the outlet where the isolation packer is adapted to isolate the inlet and the outlet in different zones in a wellbore.

  • Patent number: 5619562
Abstract: An arrangement (apparatus and method) for remotely activating service for subscribers in a public switched telephone network. A field technician telephones a voice response unit. The field technician supplies DTMF inputs to provide a subscriber telephone number and a service to be performed. The information input to the voice response unit is supplied via a Datakit network to a change processor. The change processor is previously stored with data identifying existing office equipment and facilities for selected subscribers, and new office equipment or facilities. The change processor generates recent change signals for a central office switch corresponding to the subscribers identified by the field technician. The recent change signals are supplied via the Datakit network to a switching control center system (SCCS) host processor, which distributes the recent change signals to the appropriate central office switch, as well as any facilities or maintenance databases.
