  • Patent number: 10049603
Abstract: A guard system for a street sign providing a protective barrier to an edge of the sign. The guard system including at least one elongate member having a top end portion, a bottom end portion, a length and a width. At least one bracket member extends outwardly from the elongate member having a first end fixed to the elongate member and a second end configured to fixedly engage with an outer peripheral edge portion of the sign. When fixedly engaged, the second end of the bracket member is fixedly engaged to an outer peripheral edge portion of the sign whereby the elongate member is spaced apart from the outer peripheral edge of the sign and is aligned with the outer peripheral edge of the sign as a protective barrier to the outer peripheral edge of the sign.

  • Patent number: 9147284
Abstract: Generating a computer model to display a position of a person in a defined location is disclosed. A method includes the operation of selecting a substantially overhead image of a defined location having spatial coordinates. A perimeter of the defined location is marked using a graphical user interface. The marked perimeter is related to the spatial coordinates of the defined location. A computer model of the defined location is generated based on the marked perimeter. Multiple levels can be added to the computer model. Spatial coordinates of the person can be determined. The position of the person can be displayed relative to the computer model of the defined location based on the spatial coordinates of the person relative to the spatial coordinates of the defined location.
    Type: Grant
