  • Publication number: 20230416845
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to methods, compositions, and kits useful for detecting a multiplicity of bacterial genomes present in a sample (e.g., a biological sample obtained from a subject exhibiting one or more signs or symptoms of a bacterial infection). Specifically, the present disclosure relates to nucleic acid primers, primer sets, and multiplicities of primer sets that allow for broad (e.g., species non-specific) detection of bacterial genomes present in such a sample using loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP).

  • Publication number: 20230409821
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for automated testing of templates of a mobile message. One method includes generating at least a first template of the mobile message and a second template of the mobile message, each of the first template and the second template having at least a different content or a different send time, assigning a respective group of mobile message recipients to the first template of the mobile message and the second template of the mobile message, determining automatically whether the first template of the mobile message has a statistical advantage over the second template of the mobile message through testing, and sending the mobile message of the first template to a remainder of the planned mobile message recipients when the first template of the mobile message is determined to have the statistical advantage over the second template of the mobile message.

One method includes generating at least a first template of the mobile message and a second template of the mobile message, each of the first template and the second template having at least a different content or a different send time, determining information associated with the mobile message, identifying and sending guidance for a marketing manager based on the information associated with the mobile message, receiving user-selected configurations from the marketing manager in response to the guidance, and assigning a first group of mobile message recipients to the first template of the mobile message and a second respective group of mobile message recipients to the second template of the mobile message, wherein the assigning is based on the information associated with the mobile message and the user-selected configurations received from the marketing manager.

  • Publication number: 20060040067
Abstract: A discharge-enhanced CVD apparatus and method utilizes a nozzle containing electrodes to generate a high voltage electrical discharge at or near atmospheric pressure in the absence of a stabilizing or arc-suppressing noble gas. Reactants are passed directly through or/and under the discharge before being directed to the surface of a substrate to be coated.

  • Patent number: 6655807
Abstract: An extensible outside rearview mirror for a vehicle includes a spring-clamped slide mechanism that ensures a zero clearance fit between sliding components to avoid vibration. Bearing members between the sliding components reduce friction and provide a consistent reaction force to ensure smooth operation of an actuator mechanism which extends or retracts the mirror assembly along a support arm. The slide mechanism includes V-shaped guiderails vertically aligned with opposing V-shaped guiderails on the mounting bracket assembly. Rod-like bearing means are interposed between the opposing guiderail pairs. A cantilever clamp jaw with spring means biases one guiderail toward the other with a high spring force which provides superior rigidity and thus enhanced mirror image clarity.
