    Abstract: A retractable trailer coupling assembly rearwardly disposable from a trailer and adapted for towing an additional trailer having a coupling frame, in mechanical connection with the underside of the trailer; a coupling dolly, having a fifth wheel, adapted for towing a trailer, and an axle carrier, in slidable connection with the coupling frame between a first position wherein the axle carrier and the fifth wheel are entirely positioned under the trailer and a second position wherein the axle carrier and the fifth wheel are positioned a sufficient distance rearward of the trailer to allow connection of the additional trailer. A lock is in functional connection between the coupling frame and the coupling dolly, for selectively locking the coupling dolly in a fixed relationship with the coupling frame in the first and second positions.

Mobile occupant carrier B includes a frame 12 which includes an occupant support frame 18 and a bottom frame 20 made unitary by a first junction frame 36 and a second junction frame 38. Upstanding securement stanchion C includes a base member 60, a carrier securing section 14 and a headrest 64. A four-point restraint system D includes latch bars 41a, 41b, 42a and 42b integral with mobile occupant carrier B interlocked with rotary locks 72 integral with carrier securing section 14 of upstanding securement stanchion C, restraining mobile occupant carrier B in three-degrees of freedom. Strap restraining system 44 includes a lap belt 46 and upper torso straps 48 which may alternately be connected to upstanding securement stanchion C or to frame 16 of mobile occupant carrier B for restraining occupant of mobile occupant carrier.

    Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed for the infusion of a measured volume of blood while simultaneously infusing other intravenous solutions. The infusion apparatus includes a first check valve connected to a blood container; a first Y-connector connected at one inlet to the first check valve and at the other inlet to a calibrated syringe with plunger, and at its outlet to a force operative check valve; a second Y-connector connected at one inlet to the distal end of the force operative check valve, at the other inlet to a second check valve connected to an intravenous solution container, and at its outlet is adapted to connect with a needle. A measured quantity of blood is withdrawn from the blood container into the calibrated syringe and is infused into the vein without disturbing the infusion of the I-V solution, and without manual manipulation.
