  • Publication number: 20240078586
Abstract: In selected embodiments a recommendation generator builds a network of interrelationships between venues, reviewers and users based on their attributes and reviewer and user reviews of the venues. Each interrelationship or link may be positive or negative and may accumulate with other links (or anti-links) to provide nodal links the strength of which are based on commonality of attributes among the linked nodes and/or common preferences that one node, such as a reviewer, expresses for other nodes, such as venues. The links may be first order (based on a direct relationship between, for instance, a reviewer and a venue) or higher order (based on, for instance, the fact that two venue are both liked by a given reviewer). The recommendation engine in certain embodiments determines recommended venues based on user attributes and venue preferences by aggregating the link matrices and determining the venues which are most strongly coupled to the user.

  • Patent number: 11014313
Abstract: A processing apparatus such as a heating and/or debulking apparatus that may be used to debulk a plurality of uncured composite layers to form an article such as an aircraft component may include a plurality of interconnected smart susceptor heater blankets. The plurality of smart susceptor heater blankets may be connected in series or in parallel, and may be controlled to uniformly heat the component during formation. The plurality of smart susceptor heater blankets may be supported by a deployment system that lowers the plurality of smart susceptor heater blankets toward, and raises the plurality of smart susceptor heater blankets away from, a working surface.

  • Patent number: 4514354
Abstract: A method of forming pressed paperboard and pressed paperboard articles from a cellulosic fiber pulp, wherein the paperboard or paperboard articles has improved high temperature properties required of ovenable cookware. A preformed sheet or blank formed from a cellulosic fiber pulp, and having a water content in a range of from about 50% to about 100% by weight, is placed in an unheated press or mold to form the sheet or blank at a pressure in the range of from about 160 psi to about 2600 psi and then dried. When compared with hot press dried paperboard or shaped paperboard articles, such as ovenable baking trays, the products of the method of this invention have superior burst strengths after exposure to a temperature of 450.degree. F. (232.degree. C.) for one hour.

  • Patent number: 4244409
Abstract: A collapsible container for medical fluids which is blow molded in such a manner that when the container is supported at one end, the side wall portions will automatically become self-pleating and will continue to assume a pleating condition toward the bottom of the container as the medical fluid is emptied therefrom. This self-pleating aspect is accomplished by blow molding the container in such a manner that the shoulder and side wall portions are of an average smaller dimension throughout the longitudinal axis of the body section and the shoulder portions join the side wall portions at an angle so as to effect a structurally weak point when the bag is supported by a hanger tab. This self-pleating phenomenon results in a container wherein the meniscus of the fluid is readily readable and accurately ascertained.
