  • Publication number: 20080294689
Abstract: The present invention, in particular embodiments, is directed to methods, apparatuses and systems directed to locking and unlocking of credit reports via a telephone interface. In a particular implementation, the present invention provides a voice interface server accessible to consumers via a telephone and a voice-based credit report access system. The voice-based credit report access system is operative to accept telephone requests to lock or unlock a credit report and pass those requests to a credit report retrieval system. When the request is received, the credit report retrieval system accordingly updates the consumer's entry in a lock status database. When the credit report retrieval system receives a credit report request, the lock status database is queried. If the consumer's entry has a locked status, the credit report is denied. If the status is unlocked, the credit report is provided to the requestor.

  • Publication number: 20080208548
Abstract: An example embodiment provides for systems, apparatuses and methods directed to determining the likelihood that a given individual may need or obtain a credit product. This is accomplished by obtaining non-contemporaneous snapshots of credit files and using the non-contemporaneous snapshots to build a predictive model to determine a likelihood that a given individual will be needing a credit product. In one implementation, the credit product is a non-credit product. Other systems, apparatuses and methods can also be employed to sell preferential placement of advertisements on a website.

  • Publication number: 20060064818
Abstract: A bed-tent provides an enclosure over a mattress. The tent forms a canopy having panels each with a resilient, strip frame member and a sheet of flexible fabric. Retainers secure the canopy on the mattress. In some forms, a frame member disposed externally of the canopy helps to hold the panels and canopy upright. In other forms, the frame members are configured so that no additional support is needed to hold the panels and/or bed tent upright on a bed. The frame members may be readily adapted for use in curved or rectilinear panels to permit a wide range of bed tent designs and features. The frame members preferably can be twisted or wound into flat coils of reduced diameter or other form so that the entire canopy can be conveniently stored in a small package.

  • Publication number: 20050274406
Abstract: A bed-tent provides an enclosure over a mattress. The tent forms a canopy having spaced apart panels and a flexible cover extending between the panels. Each panel includes a hoop of flexible, resilient, strip material and a sheet of flexible fabric in the space within the hoop. Retainers secure the canopy on the mattress. A supporting frame holds the panels erect. The frame has stanchions disposed externally of the canopy and releasably connected to the panels. A frame member externally of the canopy above the cover holds the stanchions upright. The hoops can be twisted or wound into flat coils of reduced diameter so that the entire canopy can be conveniently stored in a small package. The legs and the frame member are made of segments that are normally held together by elastic cords. The segments can be pulled apart and separated for storage in a convenient package.

  • Publication number: 20030154162
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and systems providing a voice-based interface to credit report retrieval systems allowing users to order credit report data using a telephone or similar device. The present invention provides novel functionality and process flows directed to handling a request from a caller for a credit report, while providing a secure and easy-to-use voice interface. In one embodiment, the functionality associated with the present invention allows a customer to access his/her credit score via a telephone or other suitable voice-based device, and have a credit report mailed to his/her address. The use of a voice interface, instead of a traditional graphical user interface associated with web-based services accessible over a client computer, marks a departure from traditional credit reporting product channels and provides an opportunity to access a large market of consumers who do not regularly access the Internet.

  • Publication number: 20030149659
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and systems facilitating analysis of expected interest rates and, in some embodiments, other conditions and circumstances associated with a variety of different loan types. In one embodiment, the present invention allows for a network-based application allowing users the ability to assess for what loan interest rates they are eligible based on current interest rate data and credit analysis scores that are used to determine qualifications for one of a variety of interest rates. In one embodiment, the present invention enables a web-based loan rate analysis system that combines credit score analysis with analyses of collateral and debt/income to offer users the ability to learn for what loan interest rates they are eligible when purchasing or refinancing a home.
