    Abstract: The present invention relates to an induction cooking hob including at least one induction coil (20). The induction cooking hob comprises a housing (10) with at least one vertical wall (12, 14, 16) and a bottom panel (18). A top panel is provided for covering the top side of the housing (10). The induction coil (20) is connected or connectable to the at least one vertical wall (12, 14, 16) by at least one fixing element (22). A rigid conjunction is provided between the vertical wall (12, 14, 16) and at least one the fixing element (22). The induction coil (20) and the at least one fixing element (22) form a rigid body, so that the induction coil (20) is supported by the vertical wall (12, 14, 16). Further, the present invention relates to an induction coil (20) provided for said induction cooking hob.
