  • Patent number: 11466786
Abstract: The invention relates to a valve (1, 1a), in particular an expansion valve, for controlling fluid flow, having a valve central housing (10, 10a) having a first and a second opening (12, 12a, 14, 14a) and a valve element (20, 20a) which has a rotationally symmetrical outline and is arranged rotatably within the valve element housing (10, 10a). According to the invention, the valve element (20, 20a) has a cut-out, wherein the cut-out (30, 30a, 30b, 30c) has a variable dimension, and a sub region (32, 32a) of the cutout (30, 30a, 30b, 30c) is formed continuously through the valve element (20, 20a).

  • Patent number: 10670308
Abstract: An adsorption refrigeration device includes a first chamber with an adsorber/desorber material and a second chamber with an evaporator/condenser device. The first and second chambers are in fluid connection via a pipeline. The fluid connection between the chambers is blocked in a first functional position and opened in a second functional position via a valve device that is arranged in the pipeline. The valve device has a valve element with a variable diameter. The valve element has two functional positions. In the first functional position, the valve element has a first diameter by which it fills an internal cross section of the pipeline with tight contact with an inner wall of the pipeline. In the second functional position, the valve element has a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter such that a gap is opened between the inner wall of the pipeline and the valve element.

  • Publication number: 20180343881
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of producing a liquid dairy concentrate, the method comprising: mixing cream and micro-filtered milk to form a liquid dairy ingredient, wherein the liquid dairy ingredient has a fat content of at least 30 wt % and a fat to protein ratio of from 5:1 to 15:1 by weight; concentrating the liquid dairy ingredient by ultrafiltration and, optionally, diafiltration to obtain a concentrated liquid dairy ingredient as a retentate; adding sucrose and/or trisodium citrate to form a modified retentate; adding one or more further ingredients to the modified retentate to form a liquid dairy concentrate; cooling the liquid dairy concentrate to at most 8° C.; filling the cooled liquid dairy concentrate into a beverage container; and sealing and retorting the liquid dairy concentrate in the beverage container.
