  • Patent number: 9055397
Abstract: A method for providing a roaming functionality related to an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) session includes: transmitting, by a second IMS domain, a session set-up request control signaling to a first IMS domain; transmitting, by the first IMS domain, the session set-up request control signaling in a forward direction to a Roaming Border Control Function (RBCF); and handling, by the second IMS domain, the user plane path and the associated control signaling to terminate the session set-up. Local break out of media is applied for the roaming first UE. The RBCF provides a linking of signaling received via a loop through the first IMS domain in the Home Public Land Mobile Network (HPLMN) with media anchored due to the local break out in the second IMS domain in the Visited Public Land Mobile Network (VPLMN).

  • Patent number: 8775592
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transmitting control data in a telecommunication network for controlling a service administered by the telecommunication network, especially a server connected to the telecommunication network. According to said method, the telecommunication network provides a data object, especially a contact of an address book, with a function that is special with respect to other data objects. A parameterized message is transmitted by the terminal device for telecommunication via the telecommunication network to a higher order system component of the telecommunication network, said message comprising at least one first parameter for characterizing the data object and a second parameter containing a control information, especially for the activation, deactivation or modification of the service. The higher order system component checks at least one of the parameters and the service is controlled depending on the result of the check and in accordance with the control parameter.

  • Patent number: 8260277
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for controlling an arrangement of a configuration comprising two or more user devices (multi-device configuration) of telecommunication user devices in a public telecommunication network. According to the invention, the supplementary services of the public telecommunication network associated with the first user device or with an identification chip connected to the first user device are activated in such a manner that changes of the supplementary services are effective in the other user devices or the identification chip connected to the respective additional user device of the multi-device configuration at the same time or with a temporal delay.

  • Patent number: 8005491
Abstract: A method for controlling the delivery of messages in a telecommunications network, particularly in a mobile communications network, with data assigned to a subscriber relationship and to a terminal, that is, to the identification chip (for example, GSM, SIM, UMTS, USIM) connected thereto. These assigned data, entirely or in part, are transmitted synchronously or approximately synchronously to additional terminals, that is, to the identification chip (for example, GSM SIM, UMTS USIM) connected thereto, assigned to this subscriber.

  • Publication number: 20100130200
Abstract: The invention relates to a procedure for transmission of control data between a terminal for telecommunication via a telecommunication network and a server connected with the telecommunication network for control of a service administered by the telecommunication network, in which the telecommunication network provides a special function to a data object, whereby one data base each is assigned to the terminal and the server, in which the telecommunication network makes a special function available to a data object, whereby one data base each is assigned to the terminal and the server, and whereby the transmission occurs by a parameter value for activation, deactivation or change of the service being assigned at first to at least one control parameter assigned to the data object, and the data object together with the control parameter is stored in one of the two data bases, whereby this data base is then synchronized with the other data base.
