  • Patent number: 8353680
Abstract: A stroke-adjustable air conditioning compressor, in particular for motor vehicles, including a drive mechanism for pistons that move back and forth, the pistons being driven by an adjusting plate, such as a pivoting plate, pivoting ring or swash plate at an adjustable pivoting angle. The position of the pivoting angle is influenced inter alia by compressive forces, inertial forces and elastic forces that are active in the drive mechanism.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 7, 2008
Date of Patent: January 15, 2013
    Assignee: ixetic MAC GmbH
Inventors: Tilo Schaefer, Thomas Di Vito
  • Patent number: 8353681
Abstract: A compressor, such as an air-conditioning compressor for motor vehicles, particularly with a drive which has an adjustable swept volume, for the intake and compression of a refrigerant and a lubricant separator, which separates lubricant from the refrigerant, in particular, in the discharge pressure region of the compressor. The lubricant is introduced to the drive by a partial flow branching off from the high pressure refrigerant flow.

    Filed: August 5, 2005
Date of Patent: January 15, 2013
Assignee: Luk Fahrzeug-Hydraulik GmbH & Co. KG
Inventors: Jan Hinrichs, Thomas Di Vito
  • Patent number: 7874309
Abstract: The invention relates to a compressor, particularly for air conditioners in motor vehicles, comprising a safety device for limiting high pressure, whereby the safety device is hermetically sealed until first responding, after which it slowly reduces the system pressure.

  • Publication number: 20070256431
Abstract: An air-conditioning compressor for air conditioning systems, especially for motor vehicles, or an air conditioning system comprising an air-conditioning compressor. The air-conditioning compressor is connected to a high-pressure zone and a suction pressure zone. Driving chamber pressure is redirected from the driving chamber of the air-conditioning compressor, i.e. from the high-pressure zone of the driving chamber to the suction pressure zone, if necessary while a filter, particularly a dirt particle filter, is optionally located in the suction pressure zone.

  • Publication number: 20060027006
Abstract: An improved cylinder lock and key combination is provided. The lock comprises a housing having a lock cylinder comprising a plurality of pin chambers each having a movable tumbler pin disposed therein, a plug rotatably mounted in the lock cylinder that comprises a key channel for receiving a portion of the key, and an interfering means positioned in the key channel. The key contains a blade portion having a plurality of cuts formed in a side of the blade. Each of the plurality of cuts are respectively alignable with each of the plurality of tumbler pins. The blade portion further comprises a key stop for correctly positioning the key in the key channel. When the key is positioned in the lock so that the key stop engages the interfering means in the key channel, the plurality of cuts on the key are aligned with the plurality of tumbler pins to create a shear line that allows operation of the lock.
