  • Publication number: 20150010257
Abstract: A bearing includes a fixed ring (16) and a rotating ring (14) for supporting an end of a rotatable element. An axis of the rotating ring is laterally displaced from an axis of the fixed ring. An eccentric ring (12) separates the rotating ring from the fixed ring. The eccentric ring is rotatable relative to the fixed ring and is separated from the fixed ring by an angular contact ball bearing (ACBB) (11). The eccentric ring is separated from the rotating ring by a second bearing (13), the eccentric ring being substantially coaxial with either the fixed ring or the rotating ring.

  • Patent number: 7576464
Abstract: A device for driving a cylinder (1) of a printing machine has an electric motor (3) whose rotor (14) is arranged coaxially with respect to the cylinder (1) and is firmly connected so as to rotate with the latter, and whose stator (15) is held on a frame construction (2) in which the cylinder (1) is mounted such that it can be displaced axially. The rotor (14) and the stator (15) are dimensioned and coupled to the cylinder (1) and the frame construction (2), respectively, in such a way that during any axial displacement of the cylinder (1) possible during the operation of the printing machine, the gap (16) formed between stator (15) and rotor (14) remains constant both with regard to gap width (s) and with regard to length.

  • Patent number: 6543938
Abstract: A radial-axial roller bearing, having an inner ring (5), coaxially with which an outer ring (4) is disposed, between which rolling bodies (15) roll in order to absorb radial forces, and having cylindrical rolling bodies (17, 18) disposed in cages (19, 20, 24, 25) on both sides to absorb lateral forces, the tracks of which are formed on one side by the end faces of the outer ring (4) and on the other side by a runner plate (8, 9) in each case. The inner ring (5) is formed from two part-rings (6, 7), which are integrally connected to the runner plates (8, 9), a separating plane (14) being placed between the part-rings (6, 7) in the track region of the radial bearing (1). In this manner, a compact, tilt-resistant bearing unit is formed.

  • Patent number: 5009524
Abstract: Two-row, self-aligning roller bearing comprising an outer ring with a spherical bore defining an outer raceway, an inner ring having raceways, and rollers between the rings rolling on the inner and outer raceways, these rollers having a convex lateral surface, a cage for guiding the rollers, the cage being split into two halves, each half holding one row of rollers and each half of the cage being guided in a sliding manner in the bore of the outer ring, a loose guide ring on the inner ring between the rows of rollers, a lubricant supply hole in the outer ring, the cage halves (6, 7) being located at a distance (A) from each other which is equal to or greater than the diameter of the oil supply hole (10).
