  • Publication number: 20210186610
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of system, methods and computer-accessible medium can be provided for performing feedback-controlled electromagnetic radiation (EMR)-based treatment. Some exemplary embodiments include an image acquisition system configured to detect information regarding at least one portion of a tissue, and an EMR source configured to generate an EMR beam. A controller can be provided that can be configured to (i) recognize one or more targets within the portion(s) of the tissue based upon the feedback data, (ii) locate one or more coordinates within the portion(s) associated with the target(s), and (iii) control the optical arrangement to direct the EMR beam to impact the coordinate(s).

  • Publication number: 20070052267
Abstract: A therapeutic reclining chair includes a base unit and a reclining chair unit pivotally connected to the base unit, with a motor drive unit for smoothly moving the chair unit between an upright and a reclining position; and further includes three independent audio sources which provide signals to two sets of speakers or transducer units for generating acoustic and tactile output to a user's body through the structure of the chair unit, and one set of speakers, preferably but not necessarily limited to headphones, for providing sounds to a user's ears. A user of the therapeutic chair experiences a combination of partial sensory deprivation in a floating-like orientation, two distinct, but coordinated tactile/auditory sensations, and a third, also coordinated, auditory sensation through the headphones, all cooperating to induce a state of deep relaxation in which conscious mental activity is discouraged and subconscious mental activity and receptivity is enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20070055893
Abstract: A central encryption and storage manager is provided for securely storing sensitive data values for requestors such as clients. A requester sends an actual data value to the central encryption and storage manager via a secure network connection for storage. After authenticating the requester, the central encryption and storage manager obtains a replacement value associated with the actual data value and encrypts the actual data value. The replacement value and the encrypted actual data value are then stored by the central encryption and storage manager, and the replacement value is transmitted back to the requestor for storage by the requestor. When the requestor needs an actual data value, the requester retrieves the replacement value associated with the actual data value and securely transmits the replacement value to the central encryption and storage manager.

  • Publication number: 20050115197
Abstract: Barrier/sealer compositions impart at least biostatic activity to porous substrates, particularly architectural building materials, such as wood products, providing extended protection against the development of damaging fungi, such as mold, mildew and yeasts, as well as bacterial infestation. The protective sealer compositions comprise at least one antimicrobial agent, such as a fungicide and a film forming combination comprising a continuous film forming polymer and a water repellent compound. The spectrum of activity can also be potentiated to impart expanded biocidal activity to effectively kill and clean infected porous substrates and extend the useful life expectancy of architectural building materials by the introduction of other additives, including peroxide and antibacterial quaternary ammonium compounds.
