  • Patent number: 11198200
Abstract: The machine spindle arrangement (22) according to the invention forms a unit with a motor (19) as central element. At one side of the motor (19) a spindle neck (35) with a spindle (32) is flanged that is directly driven by the rotor (28) of the motor (19). The spindle (32) is a so-called null spindle that can be replaced without readjustment with all bearings and other wear parts due to the present exactly adjusted positioning surface (39) that abuts against an axially properly defined bearing contact surface (38). At the backside of the motor (19) facing away from the spindle (32), a tool releasing device (20) and an angle adjustment transmission (21) is arranged that serves to rotate a present traverse feed shaft (42) relative to the spindle (32). The traverse feed shaft (42) serves to actuate an adjustment device at the tool (15).

  • Patent number: 11135691
Abstract: The inventive working spindle comprises a spindle housing and a spindle shaft with axial positioning surface and axial contact surface by which the correct axial position of each fitting provided spindle shaft in the spindle housing is obtained. For torque-proof holding of the spindle shaft in the spindle housing, preferably with stationary motor, a braking unit is provided that comprises a radial outer part that is coupled with the spindle housing in a torque-proof manner and a radial inner part that is coupled with the spindle shaft in a torque-proof manner. The largest outer diameter of the peripheral surface of the inner part is smaller than the narrowest location of the through-opening of the spindle housing between the braking unit and the tool side end of the spindle housing. For this reason the spindle shaft can be readily removed from the spindle housing without disassembly measures of the braking unit, if required, and can be reinserted in reverse route.

  • Patent number: 3950120
Abstract: A pelletising machine of the kind comprising an annular die having radial bores therethrough, and adapted to be rotated about its central axis, whereby material introduced into the centre of the die is extruded through the bores by the action of freely rotatable pelletising rollers which are closely spaced from the inner peripheral surface of the annular die, and having a door which can be hinged between an open position enclosing the die, there being a cut-off knife mounted on the end of a shaft extending through the wall of said door, characterised in that the shaft supporting the cut-off knife passes through a guide sleeve carried in a housing secured to the wall of the door, there being means to permit fine adjustment of the position of said shaft axially within said guide sleeve and means permitting said guide sleeve together with said shaft to be moved as a unit rapidly outwardly relative to said housing and returned inwardly to their initial position.
