Publication number: 20260020839Abstract: Systems and methods for anatomy-directed ultrasound are described. In some implementations, an anatomy-directed ultrasound system generates ultrasound data from an ultrasound scan of an anatomy, which is a bodily structure of an organism (e.g., human or animal). The system identifies organs represented in the ultrasound data and information associated with the organs including position and type of organ. Using this information, the system obtains or generates new ultrasound data that includes a region in which an item of interest is likely to be located. For example, the system can crop the original ultrasound data, refocus the ultrasound scan (e.g., by adjusting imaging parameters) to image the region that is likely to include the item of interest, or generate a weight map indicating the region. The anatomy-directed ultrasound system can increase accuracy and reduce the number of false positives in comparison to the number detected by conventional ultrasound systems.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2025Publication date: January 22, 2026Applicant: FUJIFILM SonoSite, Inc.Inventors: Davin Dhatt, Paul Danset, Thomas Duffy, Christopher White, Andrew Lundberg

Patent number: 8300374Abstract: A semiconductor component that includes a current limit circuit and a method for limiting current in the semiconductor component. An input/output pin is connected to the gate of a transistor and a control resistor is connected between the gate of the transistor and its source. One terminal of the control resistor is connected to the input/output pin and the other terminal is connected to another input/output pin. A current source is connected to the input/output pin. A reference voltage is generated between the two input/output pins and compared with a drain-source voltage that is between one of the two input/output pins and another input/output pin. A control voltage is set in accordance with the comparison. The control voltage then controls the voltage on another of the pins that is not common to the reference voltage and to the drain-source voltage.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 2008Date of Patent: October 30, 2012Assignee: Semiconductor Components Industries, LLCInventors: Thomas William Ciccone, Thomas Duffy, Bryan McCoy, Timothy Kaske, John Ciccone

Publication number: 20060236672Abstract: A rake having a curved handle and a rake head which is made up of a frame having a crossbar connecting the sides of the frame and connecting to the handle. The rake head contains sidepieces which are so shaped as to enable the rake head to glide across the ground. The sidepieces may fit into ski glides or spoon glides to provide this property. The frame is straight or is arced so as to provide a large area of containment. The invention also presents a broom or squeegee having the same handle as the rake. The handle is connected to an adapter, which fits into either side of a handle connector. The broom or squeegee is also connected to wheels so that it may be moved without being lifted from the surface to be cleaned or dried.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2005Publication date: October 26, 2006Inventor: Thomas Duffy

Publication number: 20060010425Abstract: Software management methods and apparatus for performing software configuration management operations and for supporting build processes are described. Both implied and explicit dependency relationship information is captured and intelligently used in an automated fashion avoiding or reducing the need for human tracking of such relationships. Temporary or non-persistent data elements used during various phases of the software development process are automatically detected, including for example environment variables and their values and the versions of tools used to operate on the software components. A persistent association is created and stored between the normally temporary data element(s) and the software component(s) they affect. Implicit dependencies between data elements and software components are also automatically updated and revision-controlled, making historical and current implicit dependencies persistent.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2002Publication date: January 12, 2006Inventors: Gloria Willadsen, Bruce Meyer, Thomas Duffy
